Yeah, that ABC “clarification” seems to be from someone who still isn’t quite up on what the problem is in the first place.
ABC is giving a platform to an idiot like Breitbart so trying to minimize and claim he isn’t representing ABC when in fact by giving Breitbart the platform itself is the problem

Well known fabulist & complete LIAR, Breitbart, enjoys backing from the Kochtopolis who probably paid off someone or another at ABC to “hire” this scum-sucking bottowm-dwelling creep to ever further lower the tone of our national discourse.
I’d rather have ABC hire spooge-bucket dunderhead Not-Joe the Not-Plumber to provide his “commentary,” than a jerkhead like Breitbart. Still when Breitbart edits his videos to make some possibly leftist person look bad, the Dems & Obama dance merrily to Breitbart’s tune. So, in that sense, guess Breitbart has *something to say* to Obamaco…
Breitbart isn’t as gutsy as Wayne Gale. Or as honest.
Jane a CNN reporter might want to ask if James was right about him not coming up with the date rape script. If James was right then Breibart as his money man seems the likely writer.
Or who else gave James the cash the koch brothers? Win/win.

Breitbart as a GOPer means ABC accepts that all of Breitbart’s views represent the GOP trap play folks enjoy, research, laugh time to boycott ABC advertisers.
In this economy can any advertiser laugh off even a 1% drop in sales?

The other ABC analysts should be aware that Breitbart wil happily either snitch on them or stab them in the back, whichever is easier. Breitbart had a little conspiracy with RatFucker Tucker Carlson where they released private e-mails to get other journalists fired. Breitbart got Weigel fired and then he gloated that Spencer Ackerman would also be fired. That did not happen. Breitbart, with his sidekick OKeefe, did go after CNN in some sort of bizarre delusional sexual seduction of a CNN reporter.
Is there anyone that thinks that the broadcast corporate media has any credibility left? It’s so obvious that their only purpose is to serve as a conduit of misinformation, propaganda and indoctrination from the plutocracy to the American public.

The obvious answer is no, and the reason is, because they are allowed to get away with it. Pinch one of them in the wallet just one time, and they might think twice about staging blatant outrages like Breitbart in prime time.

Flipping through the movie, probably one of the better Tommy Lee lines is in that riot scene, informed that Micky and Mallory are “reunited” so-to-say, having shot Scagnetti (Tom Sizemore) on TV.

Jane Hamsher firedoglake and her band merry men and women doing the Robinhood thing of going after the Sheriff of WA DC with biting words of wisdom. I await your mall demonstration too! I hope Stewart started a tradition that can be repeated regularly and be a standard bearer. The Huff busses, guests and speakers as well as an army of writers. Please include waves like in stadiums and other embellishments. Rock reality with demands of fairness.

I’ll say this about Zuckerberg being on ABC. It must mean he and Steve Jobs must see more eye to eye than Rupert Murdoch. Perhaps this is all a message to investors?

you know I’ve been listening hard to Palin lately since some think she could actually be Pres (heaven help us). she is an idiot. I don’t think I could stand just listening to that voice for four years. She seems to have a hard time putting thoughts together even when someone writes them for her. And can you imagine the joy there is in Sharron Angle who looks like our next senator from Nevada.

At least Megan McCain has *some* redeeming attitudes and stands up for the rights of LGBT. Breitbart is the lowest of the low, and I wouldn’t lump M.McCain with him… yet. But I agree that the tone of the “public discourse” drops to ever lower lows everytime the corporate-owned rightwing media gets a “great idea” to hire some idiot to lie and spout off and act out for the “entertainment” of the masses who enjoy being ginned up by teh stooopit.
Agree that it IS rather sobering that even after all the training and pr work done on Palin, she still stands out as being about as “bright” as a bag of rocks. I wondered how Palin would “stand out” after the PTB got done with her Eliza Doolittle education and transformation. Turns out that Palin does not have the talents that Doolittle did no matter how many Prof. Higginses have worked with Palin. Sobering – eh? Yet her fan base continues to adulate, so there’s no worries of falling ratings with that group… which also sobering and very very sad.
