The man being interviewed was a British diplomat with 20 years experience. His name is Craig Murray. In 2002 he was British Senior Diplomat in Uzbekistan, ruled by a brutal dictator. He states that in 2002 there were only about 300 – 400 ‘ex-pats’ in the entire country, meaning Brits and American. He knew the CIA men involved here. He witnessed the rendition flights bringing people in to be tortured in 2002

Those few words of truth touched the man who heard them and from those few words his truth has spread around the world and may have the power to bring down the powerful of several countries.
I’m sure those words are included in Craig Murray’s book, Murder In Sommerkand, about his experiences there and thereafter. The narrator said the book is available online and in stores. I’ll find out more and post here later.

Thanks for responding to my question (plea), John. I’ve searced some more since posting the diary. Here is Amy Goodman’s interview with Craig Murray On Jan,19, 2006.
I also found some sites that have posted his memos to the Home Office before the Brits claimed Crown Copyright and had them pulled. I’m hoping his book has the full transcripts.
In the Amy interview, CM graphically explains about the pics of the man boiled to death. He draws his hand across his chest about level with the armpits and said, “he was dipped, not splashed; there was a tide mark across his upper torso…”. CM also said that the man had been beaten and his fingernails had been pulled out.
It is amazing that CM is alive.

Halliburton has also done business in Azerbaijan, Burma, Indonesia, Libya and Nigeria. As Dick Cheney once said, “The good Lord didn’t see fit to put oil and gas only where there are democratic regimes friendly to the United States.” ”

BTW, Craig Murray received the Sam Adams award given by the intelligence community for exceptionally courageous service. Sam Adams was a CIA analyst in VietNam who blew the whistle on the false estimates of the number of VC – the same estimated number was carried over year after year. S Adams knew there were many more than admitted to. He was right as the Tet Offensive proved. He was scourged by the LBJ military Wise Ones and canned. He was sued by General Westmoreland, in which trial much of the truth came out and Westmoreland was revealed for what he was.

As national security adviser under President Carter, Brzezinski thought it a good idea to mousetrap the Soviets into their own Vietnam debacle by baiting them into invading Afghanistan in 1979, the war which was the precursor to the great-power Afghan quagmire three decades later.
On Thursday, Brzezinski disclosed that he had advised the Bush/Cheney administration to invade Afghanistan in 2001, but insisted that he told Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld that the U.S. military should not stay “as an alien force” once American objectives were achieved.
Exuding his customary confidence, Brzezinski first addressed — and ruled out — several “No’s,” the things that the U.S. must not do:
-Withdrawal is “not in the range of policy options.”
-The U.S. must not repeat the Soviet experience in going it alone, but rather must “use all our leverage” to make NATO’s commitment stick.
-The U.S. should not neglect the need to include “Islamic” groups in the coalition.
Brzezinski offered a much longer litany of “Yeses” — but his list was disappointingly bereft of new ideas. Indeed, it was notable only for his insistence that the U.S. ought to be more actively engaged in promoting a north-south pipeline through Afghanistan to the Indian Ocean. ”
