Some day the blamers and lie mongers like rush and loudobbz, the bunch milling around in confusion on CNBC, the Norquist dis-scythe-ples, will push their game just a tad too far. Those who have personally been profiting from the misery they have brought upon innocent victims will realize they have broken all those wondrous toys they thought were completely under their control on their dreamy, wild, heady ride to untold riches and personal gain.
Well, they weren’t so smart after all. In fact, it is a blatant “tell” that some of these financial smartkidz and willfully blind politicianz are still out there pushing the system to milk it for every last drop of value for themselves – not for our country, not for their constituents or their customers, certainly not for the vulnerable and needy, much less future generations.
Those whom these leeches pretend to represent are quickly coming to realize just how callous, uncaring and greedy some of these bozos are.
Do any of his constituents think Boehner is shedding tears for them? I seriously doubt it. Dobbs making sense? Can CNBC even find their teletubby toys? Whu’ th’ h did Grandspan hope to accomplish with his most recent public mumble? All I heard were sorry excuses, laughable if times weren’t so tragically stressed by negligence, among other more obvious vices.
I can already hear the sizzle in the fry-pan. Some of these folks are mighty lucky we don’t have an election tomorrow.
For starters, I suggest the Boehners, Liebermans, and other legislators who have been acting like nincompoops for time immeasurable, start getting SERIOUS about helping the people of this country, and honestly working to repair our image around the world.
Barack Obama did not HAVE to run for President. He welcomed the challenge. Everything he does speaks of positive attitude, competence, solid leadership, service and respect for others, whatever their station in life.
He needs our help in his efforts to try to repair some of the damage that has been done to this country and everything it touched in recent years.
The public have spoken. They elected Obama. The citizens of this country absolutely spanked the Republicans for their attempts to disrupt and derail all Democratically inspired attempts to improve conditions and policy.
I say: Get WITH the program, or GET OUT! to all those who are only fomenting negativism along party lines.
We, the public, have HAD ENOUGH!

we have all HAD ENOUGH adie, AND WE’RE NOT GONNA TAKE IT ANYMORE!
thanx for the post, good to get that off our chest
don’t we wish just venting were enough to accomplish something positive in this one world we share.
we need more.
When you vent you let the frustration and anger out. It clears your heart, mind and soul, and then you could do something positive.
Yes. We try.
As we pack up to move, some things we simply must sell, or court financial trouble ourselves, and so far we’re doing okay.
But the majority of our “extras” for which we simply won’t have enough space in our new digs? Those we gather and sort, then give to the folks who might appreciate and need them the most – day-care centers, food bank, schools and libraries. Many items we simply put at the end of our driveway on a clear sunny day, and they are snapped up before nightfall. Whether they end up at a flea market, or go directly to someone who needs them, nothing is wasted.
Almost nothing is going out in trash. Items that can be are recycled. Canning jars, kettles, furniture, chicken feeders, fencing, garden tools, toys, books, knicknacks. None of it just tossed. The land we’re leaving is protected by a conservation easement, so it will continue to host many nesting and migrating birds, and other critters even after we’ve gone. It’s the least we can do.
One of the first things we will do in our new home is register to vote.
The populace in that area is shamelessly librul. heh.
The people in our current neighborhood are far less red than they used to be. Quite possibly blue, on average at the moment. The number who voted last November was far higher than in the past. That’s a good thing.
All I can say is that I agree, and that we certainly need better people in office than we have now. Watching California grind to a halt, because a few people are opposed to new taxes regardless of the circumstances, has been dreadful. Hopefully, it’s not a sign of things to come in DC.
Thanks.
There ARE some very good people in politics. We need to help them.
Deep thanks to everyone at the Lake for helping us do just that, in a thoughtful, careful, educated manner.
