Prostitution is typically illegal in most parts of the country, but not in some parts of Harry Reid’s home state. Maybe that’s where he got the idea that it’s okay to give away something of precious value as long as you get something you want out of it. It’s okay to take the money from the people and give it to someone else as long as Harry Reid gets something for it. What he is doing is nothing less than government sponsored prostitution. This is corruption at its worst!
Never has there been a senator in such a position of power that has completely lost his mind and gone against the basic founding principles of our country in such a fashion. This so-called "health care bill" is nothing but a sham. It has nothing to do with healthcare but everything to do with removing constitutionally protected rights and giving more power to the executive branch of government.
Recently a left-wing radical blogger was even on Fox news expressing the fact that they cannot support this bill any longer either because it is damaging to our country. So like Mike Huckabee says, "The left doesn’t want it, the right doesn’t want it, independents don’t want, then who likes it? You can always find Harry Reid."
These Senators have wasted almost an entire year of our time and taxpayer dollars discussing something that is blatantly unconstitutional and clearly wrong for our country. Why? So we can have a bill that makes it a crime NOT to buy healthcare from an Insurance company that isn’t even a public run one? This is stupid. Why would ANY liberal vote for such a bill? I thought they hated big insurance companies! So this is now what we get because of compromise?
Harry Reid should be fired. He’s an embarrassment to his home state of Nevada, he’s an embarrassment to America in general, he is an embarrassment to the religion he proposes to profess allegiance to, he’s trampling upon the Constitution, his polls are plummeting and yet he is still determined to shove this down our throats.
Harry Reid has recently spent millions of dollars in advertising to try to boost his ratings because he knows that his home state of Nevada does not like him. Even after two months of nonstop advertising a recent poll revealed that his approval rating did not increase even 1%.
But apparently it doesn’t matter. He is determined to get his way whether it’s right or not because it’s what he wants. And just look at what we are getting because of the compromises he is so blatantly willing to confess to: Hundreds of millions of dollars to multiple Senators just to win their vote! He’s nothing less than the Washington whore! He will prostitute our constitutional values for a vote for anyone that will do what he says! This man needs to be removed from office. And please take Pelosi and Obama with him (I am not talking violence here!)
We have the perfect storm of absolute buffoons running our country: Reid, Pelosi and Obama. How in the world did these three get elected and put in this position? Are we that bad of a country that we deserved such imbeciles as leaders? Is this what we really want?
Within the past few weeks I’ve had three people I know that voted for Obama tell me that they are so sorry that they did. They wish they could take back their vote. I believe that millions of others feel the same way and we have made a grave mistake by allowing these people to ruin and trample upon that which is right and dear to us.
And I believe that Acorn had something to do with the numbers that Obama achieved. I have no proof, but it just makes sense.
I’m calling on the Republican leaders to either wake up or get out. Are you listening Senator McConnell? If they don’t wake up to their duty to be the conservative party then we need to form a conservative party, one that will stick to the Constitution and not allow this nightmare to continue. Harry Reid’s own prophet, Joseph Smith once prophesied years ago that in the last days the Constitution would hang by a thread.
If this bill passes, the thread’s been cut.
Little did we know it would be by one who once professed to follow that same prophet!

The hyperbole in the title is just a teen bit over the top…
and these comments..
Radical? and can you provide a link to the radical blogger’s interview and possibly to the huckabee video? This is like a back handed compliment if you are referring to Ms. Hamsher.
Acorn signed up voters. They didn’t have anything to do with voting or vote counting, so I think your suspicions are unfounded if those are the numbers you are referring to.
I’m sure the voters will “fire” Harry Reid. I agree that he needs to stay home and start a garden.
Are you mormon? I used to be, now I am free :)
I’m all for the left/right alliance when it fits, but come on. ACORN? There are limits.
Hi anders5ribacka!
Welcome to FDL. I just want to say, and please don’t take this wrong: you’re a fucking loon.
Love

Bad faith mischief.
Yes, Reid is a corporate whore. McConnell is a corporate whore. Guess what? These party leaders are not telling you what you need to know in order to form intelligent opinions about your own self interest, or our own collective interest. In fact, they are both using “tribal affiliation” against you.
And by the way, the word “radical” refers to someone who wants to change the dynamic. There are “bad radicals” — people who deeply believe in things that would destroy what’s important to you, and “good radicals” — people who believe in changing things that would make good things better. I want to associate with good radicals, because working within the existing system is not working very well.
Before we can’t work collectively on changing a broken system, we have to start speaking the same language, and doing so honestly. If we can find a way to neuter the fear and distrust of one another, we can work together to fix a broken system to our collective benefit. There are people here at FDL who are trying to do this.
In the meantime, TBogg is right — you are a fucking loon.
I think perhaps you took a wrong turn in the InterToobz, friend.
I’m pretty sure McConnell doesn’t do much lurking on place like this, and you’re not going to find many takers here on forming a conservative party. Unless, of course, it was part of a grand evil Liberal scheme to undermine the GOP. You know, kind of an Operation Chaos thingee . . .
But nice of you to drop by with such an amusing post.
Happy Holidays to you.
