This is absolutely too good to miss! The part that I particularly like begins at 3:00 and ends at about 6:30, but I don’t know how to cut down YouTubes, so you get to watch the whole thing or just go directly to minute 3. (I found this at Raw Story) Enjoy!

Good stuff!
Meghan McCain was one of the guests. I can’t imagine that her performance was a boon to her budding career.
Some of my favorite parts:
That pretty much says it all for me!
Okay, finally! I have argued here extensively that the Republican Party is RiP – I was wrong. Bill Maher conclusively shows they are just crazy. However, I wonder if one can be both simultaneously? As far as his description of the Democrats, I’m not sure whether he agrees with me or I agree with him. What the hell…
I definitely agree that we should form our own party and leave behind these sob’s to the infiltrating Repubs – they’re welcome to the likes of Baucus, Harmon & Murtha. Now that the Repubs have self-destructed my views that there was a great risk that the same would happen to us if Obama was too cautious unhappily seem to be bearing fruit. He was, after all, my #3 choice (behind Edwards & Clinton) in the primaries!!
wOOt!
Fuckin’ A
We absolutely need a third party compromised of all the splinter parties we now have.
The repugs are DOA; the dems are not in high favor and are splintered. The people want s/t different, so if the funds for most of the dems and Obama dry up, maybe we can run s/o progressive.
But who? Howard?
the man nails it. thanks for sharing it with us.
Some of us were saying this before the election and Nader before us. The problem with Nader is that he stepped all over his own message. He became the story more than what he was saying. But after the 2006 election with Democratic victories in the Congress and the 2008 Presidential win for them, it has become crystal clear that they weren’t holding back on a liberal agenda until the time was right. All the talk of their not being able to act until they had veto and filibuster proof majorities was all hogwash for the rubes. The Democrats hold all the levers of power. They could overwhelm the Republicans on any and all issues just as the Republicans were able to do with them when their positions were reversed. The Democrats are continuing and extending so many of Bush’s policies because they believe in them. They always believed in them. That is why we need a new party, one that represents the interests of most Americans, not the rich and privileged few.
