No, it wasn’t Malcolm X, a theory that was floated on Pam Geller’s Atlas Shrugs back in 2008. Joel Gilbert’s new documentary, “Dreams from My Real  Father: A Story of Reds and Deception,” revises another theory that was also first aired back in 2008: that Obama’s real father was the Communist poet, novelist, and activist Frank Marshall Davis.

Cliff Kincaid was shilling for the movie over the weekend in USA Survival News. Somewhat incoherently, he noted that Davis attended a Communist school in NYC:

Despite it being named after an American revolutionary patriot, this was a school run by the Communist Party USA. The CPUSA school in New York City was named after Thomas Jefferson. Radical  entertainer Harry Belafonte, who is now supporting pro-Marxist Elizabeth Warren in the Massachusetts Senate race, attended lectures at the  Jefferson School.

As it happens, I myself have a family connection to that very school–my father’s first cousin (who I never met) was one of its founders. If the person who wrote my entry for Metapedia is reading this, they might want to see if they can’t shoehorn that in somehow.

Jerome Corsi has been flogging the movie too. Like David Axelrod, whose mother wrote for a Communist newspaper in NYC, Obama was a “red diaper baby,” he writes in WorldNetDaily. Davis not only transmitted his Communist genes to Obama, he indoctrinated him in Communist ideology and inculcated his African American identity. These efforts weren’t wasted. When Obama was at Columbia, he joioned the May 19th Communist organization, Corsi continues, which “carried out raucous anti-Apartheid and anti-Klan protests and operated a host of front organizations.”:

At the time, Weather Underground co-founder William Ayers – Obama’s Chicago neighbor and colleague in education reform – wrote  that May 19th provided “a sea for the guerrillas to swim in.”

Some May 19th members committed acts of violence and terrorism, such as the 1981 Nanuet Brinks robbery and murders, the bombing of South African offices in 1981 and the U.S. Capitol bombing in 1983.

Any conspiracy theory that discredits Obama and his family is a good conspiracy theory, right? Davis was not just a Communist–he was also a pornographer.* His presence in Obama’s life proves that “Obama’s  election was not a sudden political phenomenon….but the culmination of an American socialist movement that Frank Marshall Davis nurtured in Chicago and Hawaii and [that has] been quietly infiltrating the U.S. economy, universities and media for decades.”

But meanwhile, poor Orly Taitz, the Queen of the Birthers,  is freaking out. If Davis was Obama’s father, then Obama is a US citizen. Check out her website for this cri de coeur: “Jerome Corsi is destroying the case on which I worked for 4 years  24/7/365. He is gratuitously making up an American father for Obama. What is his motivation to do so? Tell WND and Corsi to stop this.”

Someone’s going to have to make a case that Frank Marshall Davis wasn’t born in the US. Maybe that will be Sheriff Arpaio’s next bombshell.

*From the October 12, 2008 National Enquirer: “Frank Marshall Davis admitted in his private papers that he had secretly authored a hard-core pornographic autobiography called Sex Rebel: Black, published in 1968. The author of the book – a copy of which was been obtained by The ENQUIRER – is listed as ‘Bob Greene.’ Davis later confessed to its authorship after a reader noticed similarities in style and phraseology between that book and Davis’ poetry.”
