I was appalled this morning as I watched a CNN reporter tick off the litany of wingnut lies about health care reform couched in phrases beginning “Some people say,” “Some people are afraid,” etc. Not once does the reporter say the plans really don’t say that or those most in a position to know say that isn’t true at all. Just the constant drumbeat and repetition of all the lies: massive tax increases, higher costs, government tells you what doctors you go to, what treatments you can receive, wants to investigate all of your dependents, gonna decide who lives and who dies, etc.
Monsters, fucking monsters.
Then a piece advertising all of the “conservative” radio shows and how many listeners they have who listen all day every day for hours. Millions of them. 15 million at least. Listening to what should rightly be called “FEAR AND HATE RADIO.” Not to mention televison like CNN.
Monsters! Fucking monsters!

In a way, the egregious booster role to the wingnuts that the media has taken on is a boon to the internets, which is the place that facts go for shelter – for actual seekers of the truth on any issue, but particularly health care. Remember, half of the audience is below average so that the audience for hate programs is so large is hardly surprising.
CNN’s reporing on everything has been going downhill, who ever is running the show, isn’t like Ted Turner.
If you used to watch LOU DOBBS, and watch Him now, you will notice a complete turn about in His opinions. He should be on FOX.
They love giving the mic to the wingnuts, telling us they are keeping us informed.
