What was actually said when asked about how much money this "Bailout" would require, as quoted by Forbes.com,
"It’s not based on any particular data point," a Treasury spokeswoman told Forbes.com Tuesday. "We just wanted to choose a really large number."
Really?
If you had a brake problem on a fairly new car and took it in to have it looked at by your neighborhood mechanic and he said that, what would be your first thought?
Remember, this is the same guy who is taking care of Mrs. Widow Lady down the street who you try to keep an eye out for, or your Mother.
It just scares me to death that these people would have the audacity to be asking for Billions of dollars to fix a problem that they created and what I hear is, "Trust Me".
Right.
By the way, the Bus is broke down too, they swiped the money for the brakes on those too, for the next Hundred years.

I’m more than a bit concerned about the upcoming IMF Audit. In “The Shock Doctrine”, the austerity regimen imposed on debtor nations was draconian. I’m thinking specifically about Argentina, where they slashed public services, cut the pay of public employees, cut pensions and devalued the currency. Talk about shock!

What know “Peoples English” Busted?? But seriously I really like the proposal making the rounds on the internet! Lets see they want how much? OH yeah $700 Billion, yep that is just what you read $700 BILLION! Well here is a solution for everyone. Ya take that 4700 billion and distribute $ million dollars to every man, woman and child! The only caveat is you must pay off your mortgage first! and any left overs well you can just do as you please with it! And you know the country would save money big time as there are only 350,000,000 of us, that’s a savings of $350 BILLION! And just think of the stimulus for the country. The bankers get their money and can lend more money to business who we all know need to borrow more. this fixes all our problems, I mean we all would be able to pay for medical care, sending our kids to college and gee if we pooled our money with our wives/significant other or domestic partner we could go out and buy one of those fancy big yachts and really have some fun on the weekends. We could even donate some to all those poor people in the world and help them and then if they would be happy and wouldn’t want to die killing all of us. I mean if they had everything they needed why would they want to??
Then just think what it would do for our crime rate! think about that for a second what fool criminal wouldn’t change his way if he had a million, what the hell would he want be a criminal any more for?? sheesh our society would become a Shangri-La or something!!
Wel enough dreaming we know those dam Rethuglians would never allow that solution, I mean what about all those rich bastards who wouldn’t have us to take advantage of any more because we wouldn’t need them!!
