OK, now they have just ran full tilt off the cliff of crazy.
Arizona lawmakers gave final passage to three anti-abortion bills Tuesday afternoon, including one that declares pregnancies in the state begin two weeks before conception.

My bold.
Um, excuse me, It is my belief there has to actually be coitus, ejaculation of sperm by the male, a fertilized egg available by the woman and one lucky sperm cell penetrating said egg cell for there to be a pregnancy.
Apparently some ignorant fucking idiot believes this happens before the slut even meets the horn dog and a date for dinner has been settled on.
There hasn’t even been one complimentary drink served.
Such is the Republican thought process.
My question is, how this supposed fucked up stupid, ignorant fucking law can declare a pregnancy TWO FUCKING WEEKS before any of these things happen?
Well step right up and behold the math skills of the Republican party;
The 18th week bill includes a new definition for when pregnancy begins. All of the bills passed the Senate and now head to Gov. Jan Brewer (R) for her signature or veto. Passage of the late-term abortion bill would give Arizona the earliest definition of late-term abortion in the country; most states use 20 weeks as a definition.
A sentence in the bill defines gestational age as “calculated from the first day of the last menstrual period of the pregnant woman,” which would move the beginning of a pregnancy up two weeks prior to conception.
My bold yet again.
Get that?
I try to look down your blouse and you are automatically pregnant if we hook up TWO FUCKING WEEKS LATER.
These people are a danger to society, period.
Out of control societal trolls with what they deem as unlimited power to control women’s bodies.
There should be recall petitions flying.
After all the extremest political positions that have come out of Jan Brewer’s administration, this one is over the top.
Throw in Joe Arpaio and all the crazy illegal shit he has pulled and I vote we do what the neighboring countries did to Malia recently and close the fucking borders with that state.
Nobody in, nobody out.
Sorry for your luck touristy people but you just might be carrying some extreme ideas back out and we just can’t have that.

Thanks Busted. Well said, as usual.
Right on, hoss. Rcc’d.
biology?
isn’t that some kind of science thing? don’t need none of that there science crap in
Arizony.
The state flag should have a picture of a clown on it.
Thanks, busted, for this! I was struck dumb when I first heard about how crazy AZ has gone. Glad you put words to it.
And it can be even longer than 2 weeks. According to Wikipedia:
And fertilization and subsequent implantation happen after that – so the time from LMP to the start of pregnancy can be up to 3 weeks rather easily.
Thank you, Busted.
Recommended to all whose brains have not yet oozed on to the floor in utter amazement at the profound and thoroughly craven idiocy of America’s “leaders”.
If basic understanding has not deserted “them” completely, then we are witness to a “know-nothingness” unmatched in the history of human society, at least since the gestation period of bald-faced and pregnant lies …
If this is not evidence of a completely failed educational “system” and of a vacuous, totally incurious “media”, unwilling to laugh in the face of patent absurdity, then I am very hard pressed to imagine what will next be spouted as indisputable gospel.
This precedes the “gleam in the eye” explanation to such an extent, that we must consider ANY pregnancy to have actually been determined at least ten-thousand generations before the “event” … and “the devil made me do it” not merely THE best excuse, but the very justification for EVERYTHING.
I expect that next, the examination of chicken gizzards, if they are not already promised to the dentist, will begin all future public events and the auguries attendant shall order what follows.
Gesundheit!!!

You know, the technology exists to let the man carry the damn fetus. So why not force these men attempt to carry a pregnancy to term, not just once or twice but half a dozen times. Let their ankles swellup, let them throw up, let them get diabetes and High Blood Pressure, let them sit in the emergency room hemorrhaging from a miscarriage that was caused by the ever present pollution in the workplace.
Let them be told that no, they can not have a D & C to remedy the miscarriage, as that would be injurious to the already dead fetal matter. And then let them die.
I don’t disagree with you sentiments, elisemattu, however it is not just “men” who are “behind this bill, its sponsor, for example, is Kimberly Yee, (R. Phoenix) and, if it becomes the law in Arizona, then it will be because Governor Jan Brewer, a Republican AND a woman, signs the bill into law …
It is not men, alone, who are seeking to control the rights of others, although it IS, primarily, a war against the rights of women and the many men who love, cherish, and share life with those women … which is now being cynically waged by those who “believe” that they have the “right” (God-given, they claim) to control and dictate the lives of others …

This is too stupid for words. I was halfway to beleiving it was a late April Fool’s joke until I read the actual language of the bill.
It’ simple: they want to push the clock back for calculating trimeters so that more potential abortions can be prevented by greater second-trimester regulations.
Haven’t you ever heard of the immaculate conception? My wife tells me I have a beer belly but I keep telling her she knocked me up.
