Ironic that ScottTrade is a sponsor of the site. And you would have thought they had the expertise to spell Mr.Galbraith’s name correctly.
BUT it is good he is still providing insight to many; the question I keep coming up without an answer to is why the myriad commenters/economists can’t get any ‘traction’ with the Obama Admin.
When Bush displayed such behavior, it was called “stubborness”, “rigidity”, etc. What will we call it if Obama continues to act as if he’s inherited Bush’s Bubble?
Stupid. What else could you call it given the enormous political capital he had when he gained office?
Many here are comfortable, from what I’ve seen.
Comfortable folks yak but don’t rebel, I’ve observed.
If you want to rebel, I’ll join you in the street.
Otherwise, I’ll buy bottled water, freeze-dried food, and ammunition.

For those who said Obama’s appointments didn’t mean much, that he would manage them, and that the silly liberals were just being their “shrill” selves in showing concern, Cass Sunstein is yet another example that appointments–the people staffing these posts–are hugely important.
