Wow. Leave it to Waxman
The House Energy and Commerce Committee has released a report showing the financial/social impact of HR 3200 by congressional district
That’s right girls and boys, you too can now bring your wonky best when discussing this momentous battle with friends, neighbors, family, and co-workers – let’s take it out for a spin, shall we ??
America’s Affordable Health Choices Act would provide significant benefits in the 4th Congressional District of Arkansas: up to 12,500 small businesses could receive tax credits to provide coverage to their employees; 6,700 seniors would avoid the donut hole in Medicare Part D; 1,500 families could escape bankruptcy each year due to unaffordable health care costs; health care providers would receive payment for $155 million in uncompensated care each year; and 124,000 uninsured individuals would gain access to high-quality, affordable health insurance.
What’s that Congressman ?? you know, it would be much easier to understand what you are saying if you wouldn’t scream and yell like that. Oh, I see, you’re waiting on a callback from your Corporate overlords before you respond :D
Find your district – print it out, and start talkin’ !

note to those of you still hesitant to talk – you’re going to find your friends, neighbors, and family are gonna want to talk about this – I bet a half dozen of my co workers alone have approached me about this in the past few weeks “cbl, you’re the political type, what the hell’s goin’ on – will this help my family ?”
Agreed. Talk folks!
This is really helpful–thank you for the post, and recommended.
Thanks. Still looking at HR 676 and making calls for that to House before the vote on Single Payer in the house in the fall c/o Anthony Weiner.
