When my family and I were still going to school at the local university, we would occasionally check out a projector and a few films from the media dept. The ones from The National Film Board of Canada were among out favorites. Especially the animation. Here is one that I think is particularly good.
With out further ado here is MADAME TUTLI-PUTLI
Here is the link to the original one. A little different than this one.

Recommended! What did I just watch? Okay. The chess game: hilarious. How To Handle Your Enemies. Ditto. Then, I don’t know how this is possible to laugh and be scared at the same time, but this film does it.
This film has, I notice, an impressive 7.3 rating on IMDB, with the partial summary:
“Adrift between real and imagined worlds, Madame Tutli-Putli confronts her demons and is drawn into an undertow of mystery and suspense. The National Film Board of Canada presents a stunning, stop-motion animated film that takes the viewer on an exhilarating existential journey. The film introduces groundbreaking visual techniques and is supported by a haunting and original score. Painstaking care and craftsmanship in form and detail bring to life a fully imagined, tactile world unlike any you have seen. Jungian thriller? Hitchcockian suspense? Artistic tour de force? The Night Train awaits you.”
Really good find, thank you.My stop motion artist exposure thus far is PES, who is also excellent. This is worth the watch.
Thanks. I am going to try and remember to feature a different one each week. I already know of 3 I would like to post. Two of which are classics.
Though I wish they had some of their other older ones as well. They were superb.
You guys…your family, has really good taste. It must have been fun and interesting, being in your family.
Also, I promise to hat tip you for stuff I plan to rip straight from your blog!
