This was my reply to the umpteenth solicitation to the DCCC.

Gentlemen,

As a lifelong Democrat and DCCC supporter, I am writing to say that I can no longer contribute to the DCCC. The House has been coddling the "Blue Dogs" and negotiating with itself to weaken the health care legislation, while the Republicans sit on the side and laugh.[Yes, you are better than your Senate counterparts, but that is no distinction.]

Therefore, I will now send all my support to my Congressman, Chris Murphy, who in turn supports the views of his district, and to select candidates who represent the spirit of FDR, JFK and LBJ on domestic policy.

I wish the Democratic Party success in rediscovering its base and hope to see a time when I can contribute again.
