‘Return of the Sun’ is a portrait of a modern Inuit family. Set against the fearsome North Greenland landscape, the film follows a fisherman and his son as their lives are forced to adapt with the Arctic environment.

Return of the sun ?!
WHERE ??!!
Well, I think that the issue for the Inuits in this film is that when the sun returns each hunting season, they cannot hunt on ice for as long anymore, because the ice is melting. Their environment is changing.
Yes…I am aware of that and the plight of the first nations people.
I was trying to make a joke as I have not seen it here in a while. :-)
Apparently I failed in the attempt.
Oh, no! A joke never fails with me! Thank you, I love it, no fail, it’s just me, missing the obvious. /palm to forehead
Well it be cloudy here.
Thank you, such a beautiful song, and the videos are lovely!
This would be such a great subject of a longer film. Even if only an hour. And in the same format. Just the dialog from the people there.
Cloudy here – and sunny. In Alaska. The days are rapidly lengthening, and fresh snow drips from my roof, glittering as it sighs downward.
What a wonderful, short documentary, Crane-Station.
Yes, I agree. Maybe there is something, I’ll have to look around.
Thank you, and you do live in such a breathtaking place. I have only been there a few times, but I was amazed.
