From the Union-Leader in Manchester, NH:

The Maine Legislature gave final approval to gay marriage this morning and sent the bill to an undecided governor.

The UL may be a bit behind as this press release from the Governor’s office in Maine says:

AUGUSTA – Governor John E. Baldacci today signed into law LD 1020, An Act to End Discrimination in Civil Marriage and Affirm Religious Freedom.

“I have followed closely the debate on this issue. I have listened to both sides, as they have presented their arguments during the public hearing and on the floor of the Maine Senate and the House of Representatives. I have read many of the notes and letters sent to my office, and I have weighed my decision carefully,” Governor Baldacci said. “I did not come to this decision lightly or in haste.”

The New Hampshire House of Representatives will be voting this afternoon on the slightly amended Marriage Equality Bill from what they have already passed to incorporate the changes from the NH Senate. From there, the bill will go to Governor Lynch’s office. Again from the Union-Leader:

LYNCH IN A PICKLE: This all leaves Gov. John Lynch in a funny spot. Two weeks ago he said he thought the word marriage should be reserved for a union between a man and a woman. Now he’s got a bill coming to his desk that would open it to same-sex couples.

Lynch said after the bill passed he knows the issue “is intensely passionate and personal, and raises strong emotions on all sides.” He repeated his view that the crux has to do with providing the rights and protections to same-sex couples that heterosexual couples have.

So let’s help Gov. Lynch make his decision. Please contact your friends and family in New Hampshire and ask them to contact the Governor and sign this important legislation and help end this vestige of sexual discrimination. If you are in New Hampshire, call the Governor’s office at (603) 271-2121.

(And as an added bonus, ask him to also sign the Medical Marijuana Bill as well)
