Good and Wonderful Morning, Peeps, Pups, Friends.
I’ve been looking at articles on the web that pertain to family issues. Sadly, a lot of them deal with how the Powers That Be make it harder and harder to provide the best and to be a good and loving parent, or spouse, sibling. Aren’t we always trying to make things better, or at the very least healthy for those we love? We enjoy taking care of each other. Or, am I living in fairy tale land?
I heard this song on the radio this morning when I was out running a few errands. I was thinking, I wish the government would help us out a little bit more.
That’s the Shindig version and I could send the lyrics to congress in an email.
Shindig! is an American musical variety series which aired on ABC from September 16, 1964[1] to January 8, 1966. The show was hosted by Jimmy O’Neill, a disc jockey in Los Angeles at the time[2] who also created the show along with his wife Sharon Sheeley and production executive Art Stolnitz.[3]
When I was reading the text of that copy, the name Art Stolnitz sent my synapses a’squirtin’. I not only knew this man at Warner Bros., his office was Right Across the Hall from mine. Or, er, my boss’. He was an extremely personable and very nice man. Honorable. And, I became bestest friends with his assistant, Mary, who was the other half of the Double Trouble team I enjoyed while I worked there. Also, when my family went to Hawaii, we stayed at his time share. Artie, ya did good. It ain’t what you do, but the way that you do it, to quote my favorite commercial these days.
So, links to other family related issues.
Hurricane Sandy Aftermath: Mold…
And, I want to direct you to a post by Jane Hamsher for ways that you can help that situation.
Gregg Levine wrote this excellent article with regards to another health issue.
Just from the way I happen to view issues, this story Gay Marriage Comes to the Supreme Court has implications for many families.
And, to round this list out, I asked my Sonny what he would include in today’s Over Easy. This is the link he gave me.
Eugenics in the United States.
There you have it, family style.
And, for fun, here’s a youtube video of Hang Gliding in Sylmar. They take off from the top of Mt. Kagel, above our community and land in the ravine next to our Park. The neighborhood they fly over right before they land is where I live.

Hi Hi.
I came in a few minutes early to turn the coffee pot on.
Morning All!
Got woke up this morning by 70lbs of frost covered husky jumping into bed. VERY effective wakeup, but next time I think I’ll go with high voltage electricity.
Boxturtle (The dog promptly wadded itself up into the comforter with only his nose showing)
Morning pups. Been lurking and am enjoying getting back to the daily
ritual of sharing news with friends. Good stuff. Thanks demi.
Bet your bed smells yummy this morning. Not!
Hi ya, Boxy.
And, we’re glad you’re here with us this morning. Is it a chilly day in Illinois?
(raising hand) present.
Good morning all and thanks for the postnhost demi.
Gonna be a beautiful day in NE Iowa. I’ll wave at the eagles
in Decorah as I drive by to get provisions today.
Oh, that song!
Good morning firedogs!
You’re very welcome, scooter.
For those looking for work, TEPCO is hiring. Desperately.
Boxturtle (Better ask about the health plan, but don’t worry about the pension)
(Slapping my forehead, again.) I must have a block.
JC = Eagles = Decorah = Iowa.
I’ll get it right one of these days. So sorry.
Krissy Poo!
Did you check out the hang gliding. You’re just crazy enough to try that, I bet.
It’s VERY chilly deep in the heart of TX….but in the 70s, they say, tomorrow. No wonder we’re weird. Good Morning, ALL.
Good morning everyone.
Thanks for the post demi. (I am one of those that live in Illinois.)
I’m a crazy son of a gun, but I’d never try that.
Mortified of heights, I am.
Looking for people fleet of foot to run in and out of the Reactor 3 building?
Maybe a relay race with spent fuel rods?
Pee Wee Herman
We always say the best thing coming out of Illinois is I-80 going
west.(with apologies to AC2)
I know, I know, I know. Rub it in. :)
Thanks, demi. Family sharing is a great thing, working on it at the moment. Research is in my future. Anyone into genealogy?
Bald eagles are SLOWLY working their way down the river system from Cleveland toward me. I may see one in the wild in my lifetime.
Our local raptor is the Coopers Hawk. Cool bird, keeps the varmints in check.
Boxturtle (Coyotes clean up whatever the hawks leave)
There’s a place in my livingroom, er grand room, where I can look through one of the cathedral windows right at the spot where the jump off. Freaking crazy, man. They fly right over our house all the time. Drives the dog nuts.
that’s something like what used to be The Word about the difference between Dallas and Ft. Worth, 32 miles.
I did a big project in middle school. Learned that I can trace my mother’s side of the family back quite a ways (if I stick to the branch that adopted her when she was 3). We’re related to the Winchesters. I believe it was my great great great uncle who invented the rifle, and his whacky wife built the Mystery House.
There’s also a signatory to the Constitution, William Blount.
‘Morning, Ruth.
You just reminded me that my mom gave me a family tree of names that she found in an old family bible. I brought it home and I’m supposed to be doing internet research on it.
We have eagles at the lake near here, they are fishing birds, and the scream is wonderful. Here, it’s the kites. Also a very bloodchilling shriek.
That is a good way to put it. With all the shenanigans going on, i too wish I could leave, but I was born and raised here so I am stuck with it.
Governor closing much needed mental health facilities,Rahm adding fare rates for the poor people on the Chicago Transit Authority and telling people to drive if they do not like it. Not that they do not have a car in the first place.
I’m sure it does! My puppy freaked out when a hot-air balloon flew low over the house a few months back. She checks the sky whenever she goes outside now :(
I’d limit it to just looking for people. You can get a lifetimes exposure in a month almost by accident and the longest you could hope to have before you max out is maybe two years.
Clearly, the lifetime exposure limits are set too low. Even though Japan has already increased them. Twice, I think.
Boxturtle (The #1 reactor area was hottest last set of numbers i saw)
For those not familiar with the http://www.winchestermysteryhouse.com/.
Wild! a whole family had to be adopted out when the mother was put away, and figuring out that connection is part of it. Luckily, my sister does a lot of genealogy, has lots of people tracked down.
:)
thanks!
Clearly, you need one of these.
Boxturtle (In Texas, shooting down hang gliders could become a fad)
A large “business services,” call center is opening near our biggest regional city, hiring as many as 250 part-timers, I understand answering complaints, warranty ???’s etc., insurance cos, a go between to insulate actual business from customers (in my estimation). I am looking for more info the news mentioned there might even be a couple of full time jobs maintaining in house cubical connectivity.
Morning demi, pups.
Good to do, our friend spuds has wonderful things in his family bible, and a letter sent back from Bonham, TX about the offensive practices slavery showed around them, by a family member who went there to do dressmaking and make her living.
Genealogy is a blast. Lots of fun stuff hiding back there in the past.
Only from September 1st to October 3rd.
That’s the season for hang-gliders.
It’s what got me started.
As some of you know, I made a trip up to the Chickasaw Cultural Center in Sulphur, OK last week,. While I was there, I watched a film and suddenly was looking at my father in a ceremony the tribe had held to establish its own government. At the moment am researching and the archivists agree that it certainly seems to be him. So have unaccustomed findings I’m working on.
Oh noes.
I just think of them as really large raptors.
Or that the city sold its revenue producing parking meters to an international investment company a couple of years ago? Question mark because I don’t have the link.
Good morning! My sister is very much into genealogy. Me, not so much. But there’s a website called ancestry.com that has a lot of info and tools for tracing family, I think. Also the Mormon Church has that big database, FamilySearch.
Mixed feelings. I was in the living room looking out the window, realized there were fluffies drifting down. When I checked it turned out to be a kite picking apart its prey, with the fluffy feathers drifting down from a limb just above my line of sight.
Yes, thankfully she’s been doing this, and getting together with other family members who do it, a few years now. This latest finding is a total surprise and out of the blue.
Really? What a great story. You recognized him right away?
I’ve seen references to that, too. A complete sellout of future revenues and at a nominal price.
I have read that also, nonquixote. To Abu Dhabi.
Hard not to. Of course he’s been gone for over thirty years, but when you see the face that sat across the table from you suddenly in a tribal meeting, it’s a jolt. But not possible it’s not at least a twin.
Hey ya, Molly. Thanks. I knew about ancestry.com, but not the other one. It’s interesting to see the names of some of my relatives. My great great grandfather’s first name was Greenup.
Indiana, on the other hand, leased its toll road for 75 years and has already spent all of the money.
Might be. There’s a “call center” in this area that has all the employees homebased. No office expenses at all, even the management is home based.
I think it’s a win-win for everyone.
Boxturtle (I have a 1 hour commute. Changing that to a 30 second walk would be attractive)
Charlie: [Maverick and Goose have just successfully serenaded Charlie with their rendition of "You've Lost That Loving Feeling."] Sit down! I love that song! How long have you two been doing this act?
Maverick: Oh, since uh…
Charlie: Puberty?
Maverick: Right, puberty.
Greenup. Too cool.
You’re late, oldgold!
Thanks msmolly,
A great aunt of my late Mom had over a hundred and fifty pages of family research along several branches going back almost two hundred years. It was digitized and copied and distributed to family when that great aunt passed away at age 102, about 5 years ago. On one of my old back-up CD’s. Stuff that is really cool and stuff like war deaths or suicide inducing conditions during the depressive, Depression. Not all pretty pictures of the past, don’t be surprised at what you may find.
My husband works from home, most of the time. I really like it too. We spend an awful lot of time together and we like it that way. He happens to be at a client’s in Arizona right now, for a couple of days.
To be fair, the money isn’t all spent, and is being spent on lots of infrastructure projects in Indina, so a lot of people think the lease is just fine…except some of the investors. And the consortium that holds the lease has raised tolls.
Wow! The video at your link is well worth watching (26 minutes). It really brings home the problems. NHK did a lot of research for their video. One of the announcer’s early statements (translated from Japanese) is that it is expected to take 40 years to decommission the plants, that there are 3 reactors in meltdown and that Tepco’s statements about the number of workers they can procure is “not quite credible.”
I like her use of understatement.
I’m halfway through the video. Workers are leaving. Some because of radiation limits they’ve exceeded and some because Tepco is paying the contractors and subcontractors less for each contract so workers salaries, room and board are getting cut when they are working in a situation inherently dangerous to their well being.
Isn’t it though? I know someone who’s first name is Freeland. Parents came from Germany. Another cool one.
Of course, Perry gave away TX assets to buddies and the state got nothing.
I did that. ONCE. It was beautiful. But I am much more comfortable under water than high up in the air.
My son-in-law would like that, too. He does work from home occasionally, especially when winter snows get bad, but mostly has a nearly 2 hour (each way) commute. Sure is tough on him and his family when he leaves the house at 6 a.m. and gets home around 7 p.m. — on a good day.
Same here, an aunt did extensive research, made a big family tree, but no details about their lives came with the book of history, just names and dates.
My son does a lot of work from his home, and since it doesn’t really matter whether it’s their computer or his, this works out well and gets more work for the time put in than commuting in does.
I think local taxpayers footed the bill with $M’s in incentives for the physical building and the infrastructure to “gift,” a solid hard asset to the company which they could sell for a profit when they get the next better offer somewhere down the road or when a Bain clone saw a current “value,” to pass up the food chain and out of the region.
I’ll just enjoy the beautiful views from the on bird cameras.
that would not surprise me very me at all about the parking meters.
Gotta have that private investment opportunity over what is good for the people.
My oldest daughter lives in Michigan and every time we drive to visit her, I tell my wife, it would be a great trip without going through Chicago. There are other routes, just a lot longer.
It’s about as cold outside right now as our lowest low last winter, and it’s still autumn.
I think we’re in for a cold one.
I think the home office is something we’ll see more and more of in the professional world.
It makes far more sense, folks actually tend to be more productive, there’s far less stress involved, it fosters loyalty, it saves the company money on larger offices… Lots of benefits.
Oh, good. Gives me an idea of what to send your girls for Xmas.
The hard freeze hit here, too, watching the sun melt frost off the roofs around me.
Ermahgerd! If you send us presents I have to send you presents. You’ll have to email me your address!
The basic necessity is a high power in the office that doesn’t need to surround itself with shining faces, and knows how to value actual production.
12 F yesterday morning, up to 20 F this morning. Highs in the low 50′s predicted this Friday through next Wednesday. This is not the same winter of my younger days.
When the gift goes to children, the rules are different.
Just the kiddies. I used to love getting a small gift in the mail from out of town. It just added something special for the holidays. Remember, I don’t have any grandchildren of my own. Yet.
Warm for your area, I take it?
While we had an overnight low around 30, we’ll be back into the mid 70′s tomorrow and high 70′s by the weekend, with overnight lows in the mid 50′s.
TX winter. The warm temps come right back.
Thank you. :O
It’s all about the kiddies. They are our future.
I have lots of winter gear. Like nonquixote says these are not the
winters we grew up with. Highs in the 40′s and 50′s the rest of the
week.
They’ll be so happy. They really do love getting mail. We got them each a magazine subscription last year just so they have something to look forward to every time we check the mail box.
It was 34 when I left town this morning but got much colder when I crossed the river.
Be careful with that 40 years number. That’s the estimate for how long it will take ONCE THEY’VE STARTED the decommissioning. The BEST they can hope for as a start date IMO is about 2030. You have to let the fuel cool and get the area decontaminated enough to work in. Then you’ll have to move the fuel rods in the SPF to dry cask and figure out how to handle the damaged rods (never had to be done before).
If the melts have left the buildings (and I think that likely), that 40 year number might well triple.
Boxturtle (But don’t worry, citizens, everything is under control)
Are you guys busy? You totally missed the Top Gun quote-fest.
Here, we pretty much wear the same clothes all year. Okay, maybe throw on a sweater if it’s really cold, like 50.
Are you a bikesicle again this morning?
spud really loves that I think about his grandkids, too. They need the caring, we old codgers can get our kicks by doing that for them.
I was just thinking the same thing. Jinx.
Have a coffee or some tea?
Keeeerist. Those estimates also bar any instances of recriticallity or any partial – or, heaven forbid, TOTAL – building collapses.
It’s going to take a couple hundred years to actually clean that mess up.
Now we’re codgers? Yesterday it was Old Bats.
Thanks for the advisory and the details. And there is no way I believe Fukushima will be decommissioned in 40 years.
And let’s not forget that there WILL be another earthquake. Maybe not as big, but big enough to cause further damage.
I was in AZ for 7 years. I always would call my Dad when it was
blizzarding to tell him I had played 18 holes that day.(He loved
golf.)
Mention to Sonny that I like his link, please.
Of course we all know better now that the superior humans have car elevators and all the rest of the tangible financial wealth.
Thanks for the great read, demi. I always loved them Righteous Bros though I didn’t quite have the low range when trying to sing that one in our HS rock band. We had to key it up a notch. The slightly up-tempo slow dance was always a hit when we headlined the sock-hops.
Signing off for an appointment. Laters
Not a coffee drinker, but tea on this cold morning sounds divine. How about some chai with almond milk?
Yes busy, no, I saw the quote-fest.
I have always thought it was a gender thing. Codgers for men and bats for women.
The mister won’t be playing any golf. Work and crash in the hotel. He hates staying at hotels. I guess he prefers to be with me. When I spoke to him last night, he said the weather was fairly similar to what we’re enjoying here.
I gear up quite a bit. Even wore the turtle this morning.
Sounds good. My latest favorite is Lemon Jasmine.
We’re Mean Girls too.
Okay, I have to get going too myself.
Thanks again, demi, will keep you all updated on what my tribal role is and hopefully there’s a name attached. Waditaka, brave.
Oh, is that where the quotes came from? Is Top Gun one of the many TV shows or movies that I somehow missed?
we pretty much wear the same clothes all year.
My mommy makes me change mine.
Did the turtle survive the trip?
oh, dear, I’m so confussssssed.
Batz are good.
Will do. Say hi to the dentist for me.
They’re getting “isolated instances of recriticality” in at least 1&2. I think #1 is in really bad shape along those lines. I think the melt is in a form where if it cools and shrinks enough, it’ll start fissioning until it heats up enough to expand. Kinda like breathing.
Boxturtle (How do you clean up a pile of corium that’s still reacting?)
Yes. The quotes are from the greatest movie in the history of bad movies, Top Gun.
That’s so she can borry them
really, I’m out now.
You can’t.
Didn’t the Russians just slap a dome over Chernobyl?
I recall reading somewhere that this won’t work with Fukushima because of the land erosion over time, being so close to the ocean.
Har har.
Do you remember the good old days when we had church clothes, school clothes and play clothes. Good grief. Now, it’s jeans for everything. Easier.
Waves to you all.
Thanks for a wonderful conversation. It’s always fun to juggle
several conversations and learn so much.
Waving bye bye to the pups who are leaving. See yaz. Thanks for being here.
What a swell group. A family, as it were.
Wave to the eagles for us.
<_<
>_>
A turtle is a tight knit double thick ring about 10 inches wide. Can be worn around the neck, around the neck and face, around the top of the head over the ears. Keeps the face warm in the cold.
You’re too cute. And, I imagine it’s easier to be on and host our morning thread from your house. I bet.
0.o
There’s another way to keep your face warm, but you’d have to stay home for that.
Sorry, I get carried away sometimes.
Oh you betchya. I love working from home.
First 45 rpm I every purchased. Had some of those cool black rimmed eye-glassses too. Had to let the windshield defrost.
And it isn’t working with Chernobyl. It’s got cracks and is leaking and needs further containment, but there’s no money forthcoming to attempt to fix it.
Oh, now that you describe it, I’ve seen those at REI.
It WAS more fun thinking of you all bundled up in a giant turtle.
I read an autobiography titled She’s Not There by Jennifer Boylan about her gender change. Good book.
They’re building a crypt for containment now. But the corium there is NOT reacting, they just have to deal with the fission products. And the corium did not melt into the ground.
Fukushima is a brand new world. A crypt won’t work because the groundwater flowing around the melts will flow into the ocean underground. They’ll have to dig a trench around the entire site deeper than however deep the melts have burned and put in a wall. Then pump the water that accumulates there to a decontam unit. Then they’ll have to dig UNDER the melts and build protection to keep it from getting any deeper.
Boxturtle (AND they’ll need a crypt)
My solution to keeping my face warm is my long white Santa beard.
Toasty.
Maaaaa. Kris is lookin’ at me funny!
Ho, ho, ho.
(And, I’m not name calling, neither.)
OOPS. That was supposed to be for Kris @118.
He’s a prankster alright. Stick your tongue out at him, Molly.
The dog is still waiting for Pop to get home. He keeps going to the front door and waits, waits. It’s sad. I try to explain, but he doesn’t understand me. It’s going to be a long day.
Dinerzens All. Stepping away but will keep one eye here. And, remember, friends show up through out the day. Just sayin’.
I love my firedoglake family.
OK.
;-)~
I’m keeping an eye here as well.
Hey MODS! When we gonna earn FDL front page rights?
Boxturtle (Jane’s SUCH a wonderful person. *brownnosing*)
Shhhhh. I think we’re fine where we are. Seriously.
Very cute.
Yeah, we’re doing well in MyFDL. What’s your concern if we get frontpaged? I see only benefits to Over Easy, but it wouldn’t be the first time I overlooked something.
Boxturtle (it wouldn’t even be the first time I overlooked something today)
Morning all. I was checking out Demi’s most excellent links and found this about BP being suspended from getting govt contracts — more than just a slap on the wrist, I think. But it’s Wapo, so no details, of course. Will try to dig them up later.
I like it! “Temporary” though…
Demi, pls thank your Sonny for the eugenics link. My aunt came within an ace of being sterilized in Michigan, that would have been in the late 40`s, I think. Epilepsy. I don`t know the details but I do know that she later married and had 14 children. None of whom have epilepsy.
We think we are so smart.
Molly was faster than I. And it only applies to NEW contracts, the old one’s continue.
IMO it’s less than a slap on the wrist. I doubt they will even be able to detect the impact on the quarterly results. And BP’s stock is slightly up.
Boxturtle (Anytime you see ObamaLLP appear to hit the 1%, check the fine print)
I’d like it to be frontpaged for the SHOW TEXT function.
Thanks Harpsy. Wish it were more than temporary, but it’s something.
Thought of you when I checked out the Singalong Messiah. It’s Dec. 5 and we’re planning on attending. La la la. Forevah and evah.
I hear you. All this scrolling up and down makes me dizzy. Maybe the Turtle is smarter than I. No duh. :)
Or maybe the Turtle has overlooked something. FrontPaged posts tend to attract more trolls and tend to be more closely regulated by the Mods.
I like the no off topic free-for-all and I dunno what (if anything) frontpage might do to that.
Boxturtle (The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has limits)
It’s just a bigger pressure that I’m worrying about.
Pretty large shoes to fill, ya know? I wonder if the pressure hurt Dragon. Or, maybe it kept him going. Who knows. Not moi.
Heh, what’s the fuss? Nobody reads the front page, everyone comes here.
‘Troll Free’ is everything.
So, I can take the fly swatter off of my desk?
True that. All the posts since Over Easy have a total of 60 responses as of a moment ago. We’re at 147.
Boxturtle (granted, those post may be a little less gossipy)
It’s all grey and gloomy and a bit chilly here. What to do?
I have some impatients to plant, but maybe I’ll wait for it to warm a little.
I could put a fire in the fireplace and push Ruth off the couch so I can layabout and read. :)
I have pork links on the stove, if anyone want some.
Prezatly, feature, not a bug.
I’ve read comments that accuse us of being [shallow, silly, a waste of time], but, we do share news, scientific, and I thank you for that, and otherwise. We be who we be.
So there!
No. Always be armed with the mighty flyswat. Just avoid any fear of it’s use.
Troll free? Pfft.
I’m here.
But, you’re way cuter than this troll.
There was a cute photo of troll dolls on a recent diary that Markfromireland posted. I remember we used to call those Damn Dolls.
Just more wasteful, silly commentary.
Yea but you’re just a kid so…….heh.
I object to shallow, but I plead No Contest to Silly and waste of time.
I don’t hang out at PamsHouseBlend because the residents there struck me as being angry and bitter. But some people LIKE to vent, some need to vent. And they’ve got a place to do it. And they don’t make me go there. Fair enough.
Tastes differ. I’ve learned lots in the morning free-for-all’s.
Boxturtle (Random factoid: No matter where you are, you are never more than 7ft from a spider. Sleep well)
Meet the worlds first troll.
Boxturtle (And arguably still the best)
A warning to watch it, bub. I brought up Kris’ youth at a PUAC and got slapped for it. Not by Kris, of course.
PS. I adore Thomas Roberts on MSNBC.
Okay, maybe just really like.
also to gw @ 142
Demi, if you click on the comment number that someone is replying to (not the name, that goes to their profile), it will scoot you to the comment. To get back to where you were, hit your “Back” arrow or equivalent. Took me a while to figure that one out — saves time and I don’t get motion sick from all the scrolling. I am on Firefox but should work for any browser.
That link triggered an attack warning from my browser’s security…
Yup, I do that too, sometimes. Little tricks help. Understanding how the site functions helps too.
Some folks were mentioning not being able to find Over Easy when we started. Easy Peasy.
I encourage folks to play around with the different tabs, the about us, and the guidelines for myfdl.
It’s all spelled out, so there’s really no reason for confusion.
Ya just gotta read.
PS, on edit, I wanted to say thanks for being with us. I wish you would speak out more often. I enjoy your voice.
Me too. Not to pile on, but…
I think that there is a portion of folks who blog who might be lonely, for a variety of reasons. And, sometimes those people are angry and speaking, er ranting, here is an easy outlet. I’m not saying there’s something wrong with that, in a vacuum. (It looks wrong, but that’s how it’s spelled.) It is hurtful when angry commenters attack others in a personal manner, tho.
Hmmm…sorry about that. I get nothing from my browser (firefox). It’s SUPPOSED to be a picture of The Cheshire Cat.
I’m guessing the weird way it pops up caused the issue.
Boxturtle (i hate when that happens)
S’okay.
You keep working. I’m ready to get horizontal and read my book. By the fireplace. :)
Ahhhhhh. Thanks, BT. You’re quite the turtle.
I’m going to throw some chicken breasts on the smoker. Lunch meat for the week.
Hiya Over Easy dinerzens! Greetings from not -too -chilly Maryland!
My mother is doing very well. As udual refusing to let me do much for her. I ‘m here if she needs me…but gaining strength daily, so I ‘m coming home on Friday
Her community hss w -fi in the center building! Yay! So here zi am where fplks come in and out and pick up their mail, connected to the world again.
eveyone well here? Had to skim comments vrry fast.
Hey, tejanarusa. I’ve been thinking of you and your mom and am glad you stopped by for an update. Appreciate it.
Good Daughter.
Good news is always welcome. Take care of yourself too.
Hi ya. How’d it go this am? More good news?
Sonny says he’s glad you liked his link. We just got back from walking the dog in the park. It was a two bagger, and when he had to do it again, I had to walk quite a ways to retrieve another bag, so I got a little eggstra eggsercize. :)
You’ll love TX; Very cool this am and quite hot this afternoon. And so it goes; no telling what it will be to welcome you back. Im so glad you could get there to be with your mom; Im sure she is very grateful. Enjoy you stay and careful coming home. Glad you found her going so well.
Reverly!
What next, dear? ;)
One for the Master, one for the Dame, One for Sonny walking down by the lane.
Normal replacement of a thirty year-old filling. A-OK, thanks. I had three bags for the county food pantry of a more palatable description.
Good man!
I saw our busbench bob yesterday and he told me needed new shorts. He only wears shorts, and he rubbed his face and said I know I need to shave. I told him he looked just fine, honey.
So, I bought him some pants at the thrift store and a package of blades at the 99 cents store. Woo Hoo. Big time spending. Not.
Glad you’re taking care of yourself.
Hugs.
Nobody will see this, but just noting that I came back to see all the late comments. Whatta place this is.
I see you 0_o
