The people who know Palin best have some harsh things to say, as the Anchorage Daily News endorses Obama/Biden:
Yet despite her formidable gifts, few who have worked closely with the governor would argue she is truly ready to assume command of the most important, powerful nation on earth. To step in and juggle the demands of an economic meltdown, two deadly wars and a deteriorating climate crisis would stretch the governor beyond her range. Like picking Sen. McCain for president, putting her one 72-year-old heartbeat from the leadership of the free world is just too risky at this time.
Palin may not know what the vice president is supposed to do, but the Constitution is pretty clear on it: be ready to be president. Even her own supporters acknowledge she is not qualified.

wow egregious, when even the anchorage newspaper doesn’t support the women and doesn’t think she has the tools, what does she have left?
The editorial has some good things to say about Palin. But this is pretty damning coming from folks who know her well.
What does she have left? The theo-con branch of what’s left of the Republican Party, if we can keep the push on for another ten days.
I believe cbs aired a segment last nite demonstrating obama votes switching to mccain
we are not out of this yet, nine more days
Maybe Sarah should campaign more in Alaska everyone says she is the leader for the GOP Presidential Nomination in four years…but if she loses her home state maybe not so much.
