One of us.
Dream on Rachel if Joe goes on your show then I guess an interview with Jane and Ned Lamont are next.
Digg
has Rachel had Jane or Christy on her show? if not, why not?
Evan Bayh epitomizes what’s wrong with the Democratic Party. Lieberman is not a Democrat. Lieberman left the Party when he lost the CT Primary and decided to run as a party of one to be elected by Republicans.
Short Ride doesn’t have the cojones to sit down for an interview with Rachel. It would be like him going to a gunfight with his crank in his hand.
OT – Real Estate Downfall
I think the Pro-LieBerman senators (sic) should be forced to admit that “I AM one” who feels that someone should should be awarded with a chairmanship after what Joe did.
Or at least asked. Reeks of FOX but elections have consequences.
Good Show. lol.
BTW I think, and feel confident, that Jane, Christy, and a raft of other FDL folk will soon be regulars on The Maddow Show. They’ve demonstrated their chops before and it is a no-brainer.
And gol-dangit, they’re purty li’l thangs.
And Ashley Dupre should be on too.
Excellent, SD.
Reich on!!!
*gah* Another Clinton retread… Exclusive: Gregory Craig to be White House counsel
this is not only worth repeating, it’s also worth repeating another way;
lieberban ran against a democrat, a democrat coneticcut supported, a democrat the democrats supported, he slimed the democrat and he lied his way into office
he accused the democrat of crimes when he knew no such thing happened, he got DICK frigging cheney to support him, he lied that he would support the democratic candidate for president, he not only attacked barack obama as unpatriotic and “dangerous to america, he actually supported the most inept vice president ever to share a ticket
HE RUNS AGAINST DEMOCRATS, he votes against the democratic agenda whenever we need him to get a law passed or blocked.
this man is NOT a democrat, he runs AGAINST democrats, he BLOCKS democratic agenda
he is, plain and simple, a judas sheep
Anyone who could successfully defend the Big Dawg from anything is qualified.
Rachel has been rockin’. Her Arianna interview is great too. I love it when Rachel laughs at her own commentary. The next 8+ years will be fun. So many smart, funny, gorgeous women on the Left. Yes, I’m looking at you FDLadies.
sooner, rather then later if she is wise
which I know she is
I’ve heard of a judas goat…what’s a judas sheep?
Short Ride seems more goatish than sheepish, I think
off topic, beigich is doing really good, it looks to me like stevens is out;
I hope so…I’m really tired of seeing people we’ve shown to be wrong constantly turning up on these shows. I want people on TV who have a track record of calling it right. I want Digby on there, too.
Funny! (for Hitler, not for real Americans…)
I love Rachel Maddow. Hers is the best show on TV imo.
goat, sheep, cattle, it’s all how you heard the story first
goat is what joe is so I can go with goat
from your link, bold is mine but it needs to be highlighted as refers to hoe;
leading foolish, nominally Democratic sheep like Bayh to slaughter by the Republicans?
I wouldn’t think Obama would want an animal like that operating in his pasture.
What does Obama have up his sleeve regarding JoeLie?
on air america they greg palace is saying this election, votes were stolen even more then the previous election and it is just our numbers that won it for obama
this is why there were people like krystol and drudge were trying to say their numbers showed mccain ahead, they were hoping they could turn over more votes then they needed
if you can, tune into air america right now
http://airamerica.com/listen
Sounds like a qualified guy to me.
it’s nice to believe obama is all knowing, all chess moverish, but there are things obama does not know or realize.
we can only hope obama is on this, but don’t forget, he was NOT “on” the fisa vote, he was NOT “on” the wall street buyout.
he’s gonna make some mistakes, let’s hope judas goat liarman is not one of them
I’m hoping that Joe gets to chair DHS, and then Obama dissolves the whole department and goes back to FEMA.
the people obama star with with are not the people he will wind up with.
he does not know the game, the rules, the ropes, the ins, the outs
he will learn those from those who know them, then he will train his own or keep those who he thinks cannot be replaced
atlanta is going to do a re vote, I sure hope obama goes down there to get the vote out, he is gonna really need another senator
I’m not saying he isn’t qualified, he does have an impressive resume… I’m just disturbed at the alarming number of Clintonites…
But where are the smart, funny gorgeous men on the left? Paul Krugman borderline qualifies, but I can’t think of any others. ;-D
He’s been darn smart so far…I trust him.
That is my mantra — KATRINA
lieberman has much to answer for
he wasn’t smart about fisa, he wasn’t smart about the wall street buyout
he’s gonna make mistakes and if he thinks lieberman should keep his chair, he’s not smart about that either
I remain skeptical about obama and time will tell, we need to hold his feet to the fire just as we would need to hold any president’s feet to the fire
btw
pheonix has a new post up over at the lake
Well, I know what you mean. But these are the aces from the last dem admin. He is entering the WH at a precarious time, and he needs smart and experienced people.
It’s not like when W took office in 2000, and any ‘ol fuck-up will do. There is serious governing to do!
On another note… Hawaii friends, former co-workers remember Madelyn Dunham
I trust him as much as I can trust any politician *g* but he has some brains between those ears so I am at ease
Arianna Huffington was on Rachel’s show. Now that Tim Russert has joined that big lobbyist weenie roast in the sky, he can no longer ban Arianna from MSNBC. She did call him a “a conventional wisdom zombie”. But that feud does go way back.
The other day I wrote that I would pay big money to watch Helen Thomas interview Palin. I would pay big money to watch Maddow interview Joe Lieb (as well as Palin)…
she is very civil to her guests and allows them to make their points, joe will do ok on rachaels show I think
I always like it when KO (and RM) have on: Lawrence O’Donnell and Jonathan Turley. And I could do with a whole lot less of Craig Crawford and Chris Cilizza. (Straight guy, here, but still) And always, more Krugman.
This is from Arianna on Huffington Post’s front page:
Brainstorm Alert: I’m going to be guest hosting for Rachel Maddow on Monday and I’d love your suggestions about which topics you like to hear discussed – and which guests you’d like to hear from. Please put your suggestions in the comments section and I’ll take them to Bill Wolff, her producer, and the rest of the team.
Thanks for posting this. Our local organization Levees.org has been pushing for an investigation almost since it happened.
They have been trying their best to inform the general public that at least the New Orleans portion of Katrina (lest we forget about our MS neighbors) (who got more aid than LA even though we had a third more damage) was caused by a failure of the man-made levees. The army corps of engineers levees. Not from a wall of water, inadequately designed, maintained and most probably levees that were constructed improperly.
Evan Bayh can kiss my ass. Enabeler.
As I posted on another thread the other night. Wouldn’t removing Lieberman in the middle of an investigation be at least akin to obstruction if not actual obstruction?
I say him not doing his job as Committee Chair is an equally good reason to remove him from that post.
Greg Palast, Bobby Kennedy Jr., and Brad Friedman (Bradblog) were tireless in their efforts to expose the fact that voter fraud was going to be massive in this election.
Anyone who hasn’t read Bradblog is missing the truth of how massive the electronic voting fraud and voter caging has been in the 2000, 2004, and 2008 elections. Everyone knew that this was going to be man against the machine. Over and over for many months they encouraged people to vote. They were clear that only massive numbers could stop this election from being stolen. There had to be enough Democratic voters that it would be impossible for the Republicans to show a sudden ‘win’ at the last minute.
Doode, who better than this guy when dem hearings and procedures against Bush/Cheney come about (if they do)?
He’s BEEN on the defense, he knows what can be done to protect.
He’s almost as good as pure attack dog counsel. And Obama is gonna come under LOTS of repug attack, so I want a guy who KNOWS how to play defense against the thugs. Craig knows.
*G*
Heh, Big Dawg wasn’t defended against just anything.
He was defended against impeachment for receiving a consensual blowjob.
And he was defended AGAINST the rabid hordes of the ReThuglican Right!!
I’d want THIS Craig on my team somewhere, too!! *G*
I smell justice . . . coming to a town near us all, soon . . .*G*
Greg Palast.
http://www.gregpalast.com/
And he’s buddied up with Robert Kennedy, JR. over election voting issues and causes.
And he’s a partner at times with Brad Freidman, at:
http://bradblog.com
And Brad Freidman is THE hoss of hosses when it comes to voter tampering issues and causes . . . if you don’t have their sites bookmarked, well then, there ya go winky winky ya betcha!!!! *G*
Always enjoy reading your comments and posts Perris, thanks so much for the contributions . . . . keep them coming! *G*
Whoops, what Blue B said . . . spot on!!! *G*
he is, plain and simple, a judas CREEP!
