Always good to hear from Mr. Dean. Saw him on KO earlier.
Thanks egregious.
Dugg, thanks for the link Suzanne.
LL, Suz gave us the wrong link… Here’s where we’re at now…
Balkin and Posner debate linky
once again barack is going to defy his word during the campaign
“nixon was right, when a president does it, it’s not illegal”
I am not going to have a happy thanksgiving
What GOES around will COME around…
It may take time, but Bush’s criminals will pay for their sins.
cheney did all this before under nixon, his reward was more power, more wealth
we make the karma it doesn’t exist unless we make it so
Ah, perris, dont let the bastards win. Go out there and have a happy Thanksgiving just to defy them.
This is GOP wishful thinking spin politically can Obama let the Hague Prosecute Bush and find him guilty while Obama does nothing.
Sure Henry Kissenger got away with it but he has not been back to Europe.
Bush is way to high profile to ignore if he is found guilty. America will look bad.
Plus the laws Dean quotes rely upon legal opinions Bush cherry picked the Hague is not going to play that.
Passing a law that makes you not guilty of a crime is circular logic. I don’t think American lawyers in later years will accept that argument. Obama risks his legacy he risks being called President Ford Jr if he doesn’t prosecute.
We can’t uphold the law because 30%ers won’t like it? African Americans will point out that troops were brought in to desegregate schools it sure would be sad if Obama lacks that kind of Spine!
