Milbank is steamed – Nico really hit a nerve.
ooo you’re right. Dana’s madder than a hornet.
Did CNN/Kurtz cover Jeff Gannon and the discovery of his male escort web site and the Gannon/Guckert press pass/White House guest list?
After serving soft-ball diversionary “questions” to the Chimperor by day, was Gannon servicing Karl Rove by night?
inquiring minds want to know.
WOOHOO!!! YOU GO, NICO!!!
He burst the bubble of so-called professionalism which keeps the mainstream media from holding each other accountable.
[edit: why does Milbank personally forget the eight years of initimate, preferential access Fox News had to the White House? Does Milbank have a horse in this race that he hasn’t held Fox accountable?]
Late in the video, watch the way Milbank casts an inside-baseball glance (stare) at Kurtz, as if to say, “C’mon Howie, cut this outsider piece of shit off here”.
Watch where Howie Curtsy acknowleges the (fellow beltway insider Milbank’s) visual plea as he waves off Pitney – telling them to take it outside.
Poor widdle Dana. How dare someone other than the self-proclaimed media elite be allowed to speak to the President.
Look at the way Warwhorse Milbank furiously attempts to physically intimidate the less-experienced Pitney. Look at the way Milbank keeps pawing at Pitney – putting his arm around him and keeping his mug up in Pit’s grille.
Pitney should consider charging that motherfocker Milbank with battery. How would that play?
Squirm baby squirm. Great job Nico. Thanks for posting this egregious.
I love how Nico calmly refutes point after point. They can’t get in under his radar.
Well, that’s REALLY too bad.
Nico did really well. As the clip began, I thought, “Well, he wouldn’t say those things if Dana was sitting right next to him, they must have Milbank in a remote studio.” But NO, Nico was unafraid. He’s my hero.
And Toolish Kurtz goes to Amanda for the “lower press brought up to the front of the room” quote, in order to relieve Dana of having to deal with the lower order of being, Pitney.
Does Dana realize how stupid he looks? Because he really, really looks stupid.

Dana does look stupid, even if his point has more validity than many blogospherofans want to admit.
The President has limitless opportunities to answer scripted questions and to manage the details of his contact with the public. The point of the Press Conference is that legit new organizations have an opportunity to ask questions without such “news management.” MSM reporters often fail to take full advantage of that opportunity, but it would be a shame of the Press Conference were reduced to the manipulation of managed questioning.
or George. There has been talk.
or The President was really, really, tired of taking stupid questions. Can you imagine?
