DOMA pushed through by the Clinton White House and upheld by the Bush and Obama White Houses is comparable to the Fugitive Slave Act of 1850. With all this back-pedaling on the part of Obama since his swearing-in it won’t be long before we’re back in that era again. Change you can believe in™.
Failing that, we could see if we can paint them as liberals and progressives. He might even be harder on them then.
This idea makes way too much sense to be incorporated into Democratic policy.
