  the vice president presides as “president of the senate” ONLY to break a tie

  that is the ONLY purpose the vice president has regarding the senate, so palin DELIBERATELY confused this grade schooler with information that is counter productive

  wonderful, she is not only a moron, she makes children look like they can teach HER a thing or two about what a vice president actually does

   I thought Lieberman wanted peace for Israel. If an enemy announces that they would rather work with one candidate than the other, that does not mean the preferred candidate supports them. After all, I am sure most Iranian-backed regimes don’t trust republicans much after they helped Reagan/Bush by keeping the hostages until inauguration day. Oh, I forgot, it was just a coinkidink!

    FEC joins call to throw out suit against Obama

    The Federal Election Commission has joined Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee in asking a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a Montgomery County attorney seeking Obama’s ouster from the November ballot.

    Philip Berg, who claims the Illinois senator was born in Kenya and can’t run for president because he isn’t a natural-born U.S. citizen, has no standing to make the claim, according to the FEC.
