Thanks Elliot
I may be nuts, but it struck me that Rockefeller seems somehow a bit liberated, as if all that unveiling of the hideous, destructive, angry teabaggy conduct during August has kind of clarified for him that he doesn’t have to curry favor with nutjobs.
Here’s hoping that I’m correct.
Wow. No minced words. Said all the right things. Now I hear Bill O’reilly gave an endorsement of sorts to the Public Option. What the hell is going on here? Are we approaching the tipping point?
lets SPRINT to the finish line>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I’m still floored by that o’reilly thing.
I thought Ed Shultz’s show would have been different. But his show is like all the other shows:His guests are almost always people who worked in Washington for lawmakers,Dashle’s aide & a few others who call ‘emselves Dem startegist.
Good to see Rockefeller standing up for the PO.
I think there is something in the new TV technology that would make them all explode if they didn’t use that format. It must be something that bad seeing as how scared every single station is of breaking out of that mold.
Thanks for posting this Elliott. Jay’s words get very interesting at 4:40. Never thought about health care policy being tied to intel/torture before. I found it interesting how quickly Jay used his years on the intel committee to express his point of there is no good faith negotiating.
So is there the under current issueby Repugs of, “Make progressives fail on health care then torture is a dead issue?”
Just wondering.
