   Thanks for this, Ellie. Yeah, a for-profit entity relies on illegal activities as part of its fundamental business model…there was a time when we called this “organized crime.”

   There has never been a company in recent history that made the case that corporations are corrupt evil organizations than Blackwater.

   Ya gots to admit however that Halliburton/KBR do run them a close second in the basic criminality department.

   Rhetorical answer: this is what happens when the country engages in 2 costly wars (at least one of which was utterly unnecessary, except to make money for the Bush & Cheney families & friends) with an all volunteer armed forces. Someone’s gotta do this work, and we ain’t got enough soldiers anymore to handle these duties.

   Republics just love to privatize everything in sight because whooopeee more money for them (in terms of kickbacks, etc). And so the corruption is institutionalized whilst teabaggers are mermerized by the bright shiney objects of guns, gawd, teh gheyz, abortion, and teh illegals stealing health care, etc.

   Sigh, same as it ever was. In truth, it probably would be hard to immediately rescind their contracts because, at this time, who else is there to handle the work? Yet another reason to get out of Iraq & Afganistan as fast as feasible, so that our reliance on corrupt crooks and perverts can be severed.

   But will BHO do that? Not counting on it. Don’t hold your breath.
