   Both of those clips are great as far as I’m concerned. Nancy was at her most forceful when she kicked ass and took Repug names for mis-stating some things, and she made a case for the public option. I say good on her.

   And would someone remind me again why Durbin wouldn’t make a better Majority Leader than Harry Reid? He seemed quite good to me. Thanks for posting them, Elliott!

   Rockefeller moves to Lieberman’s spot, Durbin moves to Rockefeller’s. Any minute I expect to see Lieberman making public statements about how the Senate is owned by Wall Street.

   It’s a rotating cast of villains in nothing more than a merry-go-round of CYA and masturbation.

   When you hear chat in public places these days, bars, malls etc., you get the impression that we’ve had another ‘do-nothing’ Congress this last year. It’s not true. Our Speaker has led her House into passing a ton of legislation! There are 290 bills sitting on the Senate steps right now. Ms. Pelosi has done her job. The fact that she is Public Enemy No. 1 in the right-wing hate-o-sphere is proof of this.
