Four minute video of Keith Olbermann’s Tuesday night interview with Jonathan Turley on the released OLC memos. Turley includes descriptions of the last eight years under these memo’s as "Constitutional terror". Worth noting Turley is no fan of truth commissions which may provide wiggle room for immunity.

wow, thanks
Yep. He wants them taken all the way down.
Thank you Eureka.
Rec’d.
Somebody gave Jonathon an extra serving of Wheaties… He’s always great, but this is as sharp and succinct as ever. Jane has competition. /s
He can see that this is starting to open up, and is going to prod for all he can get. He is more than angry about all this. He is personally sickened, as he should be.
So are we!
I do hope he’s talking to folks like Senators Leahy and Whitehouse, among others.
And Bruce Fein. Two Conservative heavyweight intellects who are both appalled.
Good point. Has Bruce been on KO recently? I haven’t seen him in a while.
Neither have I. I haven’t seen Fein since a committee hearing last year – the one at which Elizabeth Holtzman also appeared.
Thanks, Eureka Springs. It’s always good to hear Jonathan Turley make such firm statements that express my own thoughts about Georgie’s reign of terror.
You ask about Bruce Fein; did you see him on Bill Moyers’ Journal? It was sometime in the Fall. Great interview. I’ll hunt link and be back.
turley excerpt on his contemporary john yoo’s work–”first of all, it’s really bad!”
oh my, ’bout time.
thanks eureka.
thanks newton for linking.
I wonder if there are any memos about this blank check?

” Prince appointed a new president and chief operating officer in a management shake-up that he said was part of the company’s “continued reorganisation and self-improvement”. It comes less than a month after changing the company’s name to Xe.
Although Prince will retain his position as chairman, he is removing himself from day-to-day operations. Spokeswoman Anne Tyrrell said he planned to spend more time with his family of seven children and planned to open a private-equity venture. “

Thanks for this post ES.
“we need a SPECIAL PROSECUTOR”
which is why i won’t sign/didn’t circulate leahy’s petition for a *truth commission*
i just don’t understand leahy since obama took office…..
Yeah, me too. I prefer Pelosi’s idea. We don’t put these “people” behind bars, they’
ll keep turning up like they have since Nixon
thanks Eureka ! rec.
after all we have witnessed and survived, was surprised to find myself sobbing when Professor Turley uttered the word “tyranny”
Fascinating as he speaks of Bush era lawyers as being his friends, but friends who lacked personal conviction to do the right thing.
And I loved hearing him laugh at the end. I think he senses the thaw.
The mystery of lost votes is solved.
***********
” After three months of investigation, California’s secretary of state has released a report examining why a voting system made by Premier Election Solutions (formerly known as Diebold) lost about 200 ballots in Humboldt County during November’s presidential election.
But the most startling information in the state’s 13-page report (.pdf) is not why the system lost votes, which Wired.com previously covered in detail, but that some versions of Diebold’s vote tabulation system, known as the Global Election Management System (Gems), include a button that allows someone to delete audit logs from the system. “
