Donnie Deutsch, guest hosting for Shuster on MSNBC, today recommended contacting Beck’s sponsors and calling for them to pull their ads on his show. This is a great idea. Aggregatescience writing on Daily Kos pulled together a list of sponsors along with addresses.
Thanks aggregatescience. Lets get this guy off the air.

yes! do eeet
Did Deutsch explain why this is a good idea?
Said link of advertisers
macaquerman, care to explain why it isn’t? I thought not…
You thought not about what?
Does somebody need to make a case for freedom of speech?
I was asking what Beck has done that puts him outside of tolerable.
foothillsmike i fixed the link in your post
Thank you
Goodness. Beck is just crazy. The President is biracial. For him to be racist means hating a part of himself and a vital part of his life, his mother and grandparents. Obama’s life is a symbol of reconciliation, not divisiveness.
Beck is simply working to create divide. He needs to be finished with his career.
Interesting that the panel he was stating his comment too was lacking in diversity. But no surprise. He would not have the guts to make such a statement in a diverse setting.
But then again, stirring the race card during important health care reform is the hot button of distraction. A point Beck learned recently from a press conference. This is his contribution to the Waterloo effort.
Beck won Jon Stewart’s Douche Off on this very point of accusing Obama of being a racist and then in the next breath claiming “I’m not saying he doesn’t like white people”. wth? and the way he’s just kicking back on the couch making stuff up as Palin would say is just crazy.
Would you put your product’s name on that?
Naturally yes.

When something or someone is offensive, it behooves us as individuals to do something about it.
Those who say outrageous things on tv need to be accountable for their words, just as we all are accountable for our actions.
He is entitled to his opinion, but I also do not have to support those who support his talk.
