The Asshole Pigs of the Associated Press are reporting "tens of thousands" of teabaggers are supporting corporate health care. The all white, mostly over weight balding peckerwoods, are also waving their racist freak flags high. Their inarticulate complaints against socialistic health care are being highlighted on CNN, MSNBC and of course Fox Noise.
CNN, "the most trusted name in news" has been reporting frequently on this not so massive demonstration. The teabaggers are very sympathetically shown and interviewed without allowing any critics. You may recall other massive demonstrations against the Irak War. CNN and most other corporate propaganda tools, ignored these demonstrations and certainly did not interview any of the participants. In Jan. 2007, about 500,000 people marched in D.C. against the criminal genocide in Irak. It was mostly ignored, except for being downgraded to "tens of thousands" by our soviet style journalists.
"Tens of thousands of protesters converged on the National Mall on Saturday to oppose President Bush’s plan for a troop increase in Iraq in what organizers hoped would be one of the largest shows of antiwar sentiment in the nation’s capital since the war began.” The story was carried as headline at the bottom of the page, not exactly prominent positioning. No Photo. A story about tennis got bigger play.
Wayne Madsen claims that military psyops were used against demonstrators.
January 25, 2007 — Pentagon PSYOPs directed against Saturday DC anti-war marchers. First, the corporate media attempted to ignore the January 27 anti-war march on Washington. As the Internet and progressive talk radio spread the word about the march and groups around the nation began to mobilize their members to participate in it, the Bush administration — now armed with all sorts of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) "non-lethal" toys, decided to stage a test of an anti-crowd microwave weapon, code named "Sheriff," in a demonstration for the media at Moody Air Force Base in Georgia.
On January 24, the military demonstrated its Active Denial System (ADS) millimeter wave directed energy beam in a test designed for the media, and hence, the public. Using enlisted airman, acting as "rioters," as "guinea pigs," a beam was directed at them from a parabolic antenna located 500 yards away atop a Humvee. The wave heated the skin of the "rioters" to 130 degrees, creating the feeling in the targets that they were being burned alive, scattering them in the process. The military pointed out that the beam can penetrate winter clothing (which will be worn by those participating in Saturday’s march) and 1/64th of an inch under the skin. As with any electronic weapon, it is clear that the "juice" can be turned up on Sheriff to cause more than a nasty skin burn, including internal organ damage, blindness, and death.
The public testing of such a weapon by the military just prior to what may be the largest anti-war march in Washington since the Vietnam War is a clear message by the Pentagon to marchers that the millimeter wave technology exists and is deployable. Psychologically, most people find the idea of being burned alive frightening and this Pentagon "show and tell" was an obvious ploy to scare away marchers, especially those planning to bring their families…
In September 2005, as many as 300,000 similarly demonstrated in DC, and were deliberately ignored. This was because a darn hurricane sucked up all the media oxygen. CNN’s reporter admitted their anti-war protest was censored.
There was a huge 100,000 people in Washington protesting the war in Iraq today, and I sometimes today feel like I’ve heard from all 100,000 upset that they did not get any coverage, and it’s true they didn’t get any coverage. Many of them see conspiracy. I assure you there is none, but it’s just the national story today and the national conversation today is the hurricane that put millions and millions of people at risk, and it’s just kind of an accident of bad timing, and I know that won’t satisfy anyone but that’s the truth of it.
False equivalencies have been a persistent strategy by the war profiteers. Two hundred warmongers are equivalent to 100,000 people motivated by morality.
In a headline that summed up the absurdity of this type of coverage, the Washington Post reported (9/25/05): "Smaller but Spirited Crowd Protests Antiwar March; More Than 200 Say They Represent Majority." Perhaps this "crowd" felt that way because they’ve grown accustomed to a media system that so frequently echoes their views, while keeping antiwar voices–representing the actual majority opinion–off the radar.
On Jan. 18, 2003 over 100,000 people protested similarly in DC, although the DC police falsely claimed far lower numbers.
The New York Times has become the chief perpetrator of low balling anti-Bush protestor numbers. A photo caption on its web site stated, "thousands of protestors" took part in the January 18 protest. A similar anti-war protest held in Washington last October 26 was estimated at between 100,000 and 200,000. It was the largest anti-war protest since the Vietnam War, but the Times reported the number of protestors as being in the "thousands." However, an April 15, 2002 pro-Israel rally at the US Capitol, was reported by the Times to be 100,000. In reality, the numbers were merely in the low thousands. The "Old Grey Lady" later admitted it had erroneously reported the inflated number due to a "coordination" problem with one of its desks.
In Oct. 2002, more than 100,000 people protested in DC against Congressional approval for war against Irak. This vote for war was based on lies and deception, and possibly false confessions from torture. The deception and protests were mostly ignored by the corporate sponsored war monger press. This was the largest anti-war protest in DC since the genocide in Viet-Nam.
But as noted there have been even larger protests, certainly with more people than Glen Beck’s Teabag Counter-Revolution.This is a very incomplete list of the universal outrage against the Bushie wars that now belong to President Obama. These are wars for Oil and Conquest that clearly violate international law. Around America and the world, tens of millions of people have publicly marched against the neo-conservative wars of aggression. Hardly any of this has been reported by Joe Klein, Bob Woodward, Lou Dobbs or Mika Brezinski.
When the Dee Cee corrupt lobbyists organize an astroturf demonstration, it is all good to the Dee Cee
village idiots.
Obviously, CNN has become totally incompetent. Yesterday, CNN reported the Coast Guard fired 10 shots on the Potomac River. One of their ace reporters heard it on a police scanner, except it did not happen. Heckuava job CNN, always catapulting the neo-con propaganda.

Thanks for this, Frank33.
Michelle Malkin Breaking News: Zillions of Teabaggers!
Oh wait, Update to the Update: Astroturf managers “Freedom Works”, actually the “president” said ABC said 1.5 million teabaggers. He may be off by about 1,430,000.
How big was it? It is what Ms. Malkin says to all the boys.
Geez, how many crackers can you get into a
clown carpickup truck, anyway?Learning to distrust the mass media was a helpful lesson to learn. Understanding that he who pays the piper calls the tune in the media is essential. They will not show pictures of the war. Local protestors here are shouted at and told to “Get out of OUR country!” They don’t want to know for nothing about what is really happening and about who is really behind it. For a peace vigil they can’t shout down try here online:
