Make no mistake: Roland Burris has been constitutionally appointed to be a Senator and he is constitutionally qualified to hold that office. So, when Senators Harry Reid and Dick Durbin say they will not allow Burris to be seated, what they are really saying is: we don’t give a rat’s ass about the law, the U.S. Constitution, its just a piece of paper we could wipe our asses with. Strange isn’t it, that’s just what George W. Bush said.
What makes Reid and Durbin any better than the most lawless scum to ever walk the halls of our White House? Not a thing!

Yep. dems + repubs = Pshaw.
Personally, I’m an American.
It is too bad the “leadership” didn’t manage to find some guts / backbone to hold the mis-administration accountable – rather than enabling. Of course Burris is an easier target – less likely to have negative repercussions for them, brave law ignorers that they are.
Oooh, Durbin and Reid are going to get tough on another Dem, but not Republicans.
Typical thinking.
Just seat Burris for crying out loud.
