A Chicago Sun Times piece makes it pretty clear why Reid can’t remember what he said to Blagojevich. It’s pretty much because he said, just don’t appoint any black guys.

The quotation above is from that post and, nope, it sure doesn’t. Reid is extraordinarily duplicitous, even for a Senator. He rivals W. and his ilk for his disdain for the truth.
