Great-sounding, rousing, speeches last night, but the real message of the Democrats is that they are going to let criticism from the GOP dictate their party platform. In response to criticism from a right-wing newspaper columnist for leaving out any mention of Israel or God, Obama demanded the party change its platform to include such references. So the DNC held a questionable voice vote (3 times, to be “sure”), and added a prayer to the preamble of the official party platform:
The GOP is our shepherd, we shall not lead
They maketh us to lie down and get nowhere
They drowneth our principles in still water
They owneth our soul
They leadeth us in the path of irrelevance, for their own sake
Yea though we walk through the valley of the shadow of lies
We will not call them on it, for GOP subdues us
With newspaper staff they browbeat us
They preparest a platform before us in the presence of our constituents
They decide what we can stand for; Our docility runneth over
Surely impotence and ignominy shall follow us all the days of our lives
And we will dwell in the shadow of the GOP forever.

“Surely impotence and ignominy shall follow us all the days of our lives….”
LOL
Beautiful.
Can I share this, credited of course.
Rec’d.
That’s been from day one when Obama reacted to O’ Reilly, it’s another reason I’ll be glad when he’s gone.
Barry has always been more concerned with the way he was perceived by the Conservative Corporate Media and Wall Street than the useful idiots that imagine themselves as his base.
You may.
