On “Real Time” recently, an insufferable Bill Maher indulged a lengthy anti-Islamist rant, concluding, “…we are better than you.” Unfortunately for Bill, one of his guests was brother Cornel West who wasted no time in putting his host firmly in his place.
“They are God’s children just like we,” he said, “and none of us are better than any others.” Bill, of course, stubbornly stood his swampy ground, sinking slowly.
Slavery abolished, Hitler defeated – meh. Those things had nothing to do with one people feeling superior to another.

Thank yoy for bringing this to our attention. Religious bigotry is ugly and its use should be shunned. (Maher seems to have a problem in this area.)
