Heads up, Michiganders: ProgressMichigan.org has a progressive voters’ guide published at their site: http://progressivevotersguide.com/2010/michigan/general/ — spread it around.
Apart from the gubernatorial race, the most important races on the ballot are the Michigan Supreme Court Justices. Please vote for Alton Davis and Denise Langford Morris. The composition of the court is far too conservative and pro-corporate and needs fresh, progressive blood. Davis and Langford Morris have been endorsed by Michigan’s Progressive Democratic caucus, the Justice Caucus (justice4michigan.org).

Please let your fellow Democratic Michiganders know their help is needed. Don’t let the Mitten State become more Republican; they’ll jack up congressional redistricting and make things even worse for the next 10 years.

Hail, Mich-geese! Mitauye Oyasin / All My Relations!
Rayne, can the MY FDL user database and the JustSayNow user database be temporarily bridged so that folks in the same Congressional District can see each other and request to work with each other on the phone banking for the Just Say Now campaign?
I think that bridging the databases is much bigger than possible at the moment; the tech folks are still working on tweaks to put to bed any post-roll out bugs and may be working on them for bit yet, may keep them busy through the election next week.
But this is something worth putting on the list for the developers before 2012.

Greetings from the 6th congressional district. I’ve been a Michigan resident for some 4-1/2 years now. I’ve gotten pretty familiar with the western coast, and spend a week a year in the U.P. I haven’t made it over to the eastern part of the state much, but I’ll work on it.
