So where I doubt this is a proactive act to normalize our children drone one warfare I think the probable effect makes this irrelevant.
American children now have the privilege of being proud recipients of a new toy United States Military Aircraft – US Air Force Medium Altitude, Long Endurance, Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) RQ-1 Predator
One can guess a number of things have to happen for a product like this to make the shelves; starting with Product Management / Marketing Teams deciding there is a market in the U.S. for children’s toys that emulate drones that frequently kill other children (in far away countries), a design team, manufacturing, branding, and ultimately a seller willing to take there cut of the profit. Quite a lot of conspirators?
Its worth looking at this product on Amazon, if just to read some of the user reviews. Some are so satirical they at first cause offence; however, on closer inspection they are for the most part a commentary of the people’s response to the ethics of this product.
It reminds me that it is us, the ordinary people of this world who have to be the gatekeepers of humanity.

A First-Degree Murderer Training Device?
Yes, like an early indoctrination to the acceptance of perpetual war.
MLK: “I have a dream.”
BHO: “I have a drone.”
Hah!
Does it work? If so when can I get one. I have some summary executions I’m considering (I have it on good authority they are not murders)..
by Anthony Freda, who shares with me….
I understand they do work, one review in amazon reeviewer is quite clear in saying his son has been using his drone toy to bomb their pet dog without any due process.
Good, the guy deserves to be ridiculed.
Someone posted this recently, I don’t recall where I saw it. Sad practice for budding engineers and inventors, but maybe the kids are smart enough to imagine less destructive or invasive uses.
Thanks for sharing. The acceptance of the things we find in the toy market is disturbing.
I put myself into a “geeky kid” mindset and clicked through to the page on Amazon. What a disappointment. A static, die-cast model that doesn’t do anything–and for $39.95! The market for that seems to be adults who keep these scale models on their desks and bookshelves.
However…
Kids have been playing with drones for over 50 years. Back in the day their were called radio-controlled model aircraft. And they were made to look like WWII fighters.
What the military has done is weaponize a toy by added long-range propulsion, GPS guidance, a webcam, and miniturized infantry-style “smart” rockets.
What the drone industry wants to do is make the drone as common in your life for weaponized and non-weaponized uses as the delivery truck.
If you want to see what adult juveniles and juvenile adults are really playing with in the way of drones, it is GPS-referenced, Arduino-guided quad-copters outfitted with paint-ball guns. If you want to get concerned, note that paint-ball guns are about the same weight as some firearms.
If you want to panic, consider that this technology now places weaponized or non-weaponized drones within the price range of a large proportion of corporations (and not just the biggies)–including security contractors like Academi (formerly Blackwater), Wackenhut, and Titan. Not to mention a lot of non-governmental movements.
The War Machine wants America’s children to learn an important lesson: it might take a village to raise a child, but it doesn’t matter if you to take out a child when you raze a village.
If you know any kids who haven’t had their ideological immunizations yet, vaccinate. Before it’s too late.
That is very cool. And creepy. It’s all fun and games until Johnny learns to arm it.
Thank you for posting, helen/’s shorts.
Counter-propagandize your kids, comrades.
Thanks for all of your comments. regarding really panic, yes, and they will now benefit at both ends of the equation, the arms industry is one if the main gainers out of the perpetual war and now they can own one themselves, America is truly a corporate owned country in many ways.
The sicker aspect if this is how we have moved in from ‘cowboys and Indians’ to drones for kids, we are bringing our kids into a violent world and embedding a violent mindset in them young, what is particularly ugly is that it is not long after that awful mass shooting in Connecticut many references exist in the media suggesting we also have sympathy for the children killed by drones also, and now we are making these toys for kids.
Don’t get me wrong, I am was not anal retentive about what I allowed my kids to watch, but we did have a dialog on the subject if reality, and the truth about this world. They are both pretty balanced adults now who are vocal about this subject matter. Best regards.
