Repost from iflizwerequeen

As I’ve said many times over the past few months, the Democratic/Republican Presidential “Contest” will be between Rick Perry and Barack Obama.  ”Contest” is in quotation marks because I believe that the Hidden Persuaders have already decided that our black President is to be replaced with a pious common white man of the people.  The A student from Harvard is to be replaced by the C and D student from Texas A&M. Perry will be the new national standard for “American Exeptionalism.” We can look forward to video clips of Chris Matthews as the GE spokesperson saying: “Rick Perry, a dirt poor white man from Paint Creek, Texas. Now in the White House. Another example of American Exceptionalism.”

One thing that Obama has shown us that he is very good at is–staying out of the fight.  He stands above it all posturing as the President. [Who me? What did I do? I'm just acting like a President.]   While this is his essence and indeed his trump card because he is so good at it, what Obama may not realize is that Rick Perry is the expert at sizing up an opponent’s trump card, grabbing it, and playing it even better than the opponent.  Just ask Debra Medina.  She was the Tea Party candidate for governor in the Republican primary in 2010 here in Texas.  Perry out Tea Partied Medina.
