Defending the FDL…without any “weasel’s wiggle”
In the past, I have made many references to the fact that the majority of the iconic Progressives residing in America, is to be found in the respective communities of “racial and ethnics.” And as in Native Americans, African Americans and Chicanos! Moreover, “this” has been my Argumentation for these many years, and if you’re willing to accept the “challenge” I can stand to be “corrected” and if so, this will not break my heart, and not for one iota. As such, my destiny has been “transcribed” by the Census Bureau.
Thus, I was heartened when I read that the intrepid David Dayen made reference in his Round Up of the linked items of Ari Berman’s Rolling Stone article, as well as Krissah Thompson and Aaron Blake’s article in the Washington Post and titled, “Republicans rewriting state election laws in ways that could hurt democrats.”
With this in mind, I have been, off and on and for these past 11 years,, writing the Cactus Juice Commentaries for the Chicano Veterans Organization, and have found that my “unmet need” is to express my support for the Great Scribblers among the major news outlets and on the Internet, such a David Dayen here at the FDL, for bringing to the attention, the majority of today’s white America, these important stories and where “re-imagining” a differing America that is just over the political horizon and just off the radar screen that will become our “new” America and premised on a “racial and ethnic” Self-Governance Model and commencing in or about 2050.
Therefore, writing about the future from the standpoint of what the “racial and ethnic” historians will see as they look back at today’s “political artifacts”, each will find for himself or herself, that Latino Republicans failed “to challenge” their fellow Republicans for their “egregious” lack of responsibility for “empowering the Individual” and for denying seniors and the poor, their Civil Justice with regard to their civic engagement and which underpins our voting behaviors. Furthermore, our “understanding” of the GOP’s “Bashing the Latinos” Progam continues apace, and thusly, any Latino Republicans running for Elective Office cannot be successfully accomplished, despite all the ‘promises” delivered by Republicans. Of course, there is one exception today and that being the current Governor in New Mexico. Consequently, seeing a Latino Republican “holding” an Elective Office is an aberration, as in a temporary “holding.” She will be replaced with another “racial and ethnic.”
But this will not deter a Latino Republican from “representing” and “advocating” the GOP, in it’s worst forms for public policy. Thus, Latino Republicans, like virtually all Republicans, love their insanity and argument from the standpoint of the minimalist “weasel’s wiggle” and now to the ever-expanding mindset for their presumptive Tea Party integration and assimilation, and therefore, the expansion for the “weasel’s waggle.”
Be so advised.

You “might” want to “remove” the quote marks from “around” your “words”. Whatever you’re trying to say is getting lost is the questions about what word you actually meant to use.
I agree. It’s difficult to understand what Jaango is trying to express.
“Furthermore, our “understanding” of the GOP’s “Bashing the Latinos” Progam continues apace, and thusly, any Latino Republicans running for Elective Office cannot be successfully accomplished, despite all the ‘promises” delivered by Republicans.”
¿Huh?
“Of course, there is one exception today and that being the current Governor in New Mexico. Consequently, seeing a Latino Republican “holding” an Elective Office is an aberration, as in a temporary “holding.” She will be replaced with another “racial and ethnic.”
who IS the current Governor? what does this mean?
PJEvans,
Thanks for the suggestion. It’s much appreciated.
shekissesfrogs,
Here in our Spanish-speaking community, the Republicans are consistent and constant in their attempt to create a second class citizenship status for those of us and who are vociferous in our disagreement with the Republicans on public policy. Thus, SB 1070 and HB 2281 and which is being used to eliminate our languages from the public school systems. Actually, this was “sold” to Arizonans statewide as “overthrowing the Constitution”. Now, if you’re a Latino Republican, the notional that what happened to Native Americans in years past, must not happen to white folks in the future, with regard to our demographic trends. As such, in sixteen years, minorities are expected to become the majority in Arizona. As such, everyone seems focused on the past and not the future. Republicans are on the defenseive, and Progressives have no inkling this is the case. This obliviousness is endemic.
And “What does this mean for the current Governorn of New Mexico?” To wit, many Latino Democrats crossed the aisle and voted for her election, given that the Democratic candidate was less than acceptable. Or perhaps, ethnic loyalty had a role here as well.
Yer lingo, by jingo, Jaango, is perfectly understandable to this gringo.
Rcc’d, as usual.
Larue,
As always, chuckles.

Larue,
As an after-thought, using another version of nationalist rhetoric to confront the Republican nationalist rhetoric is where the fun is to be found. As such, there is no fun found in empire rhetoric when discusing the empire bailout implemented by the Federal Reserve’s $16 trillion in which the wealthy were recompensated for their laissez faire being visited on my wallet.
