Here is Today’s “Test Question”
Every four years, the Grudge Match between “progressives” versus “conservatives” becomes institutionalized. Therefore, in November, this Grudge Match is two-pronged, meaning “progressive” Democrats versus “conservative” Democrats, as well as “progressives” versus “conservatives” (Republicans and Democrats alike.)
Now, are you ready to cast your vote?
And from the perspective that is my Sonoran Desert view, Hispanics in Phoenix, Arizona, in the election of 2008, 85% voted for Obama. Consequently, in November’s election, Hispanic Republicans will, at a 50% pace, will be voting for Obama, and which raises this “bar” to the level for being above 90% and equivalent to the voting behavior by Native Americans and African Americans.
Therefore, the Democratic Trend is the equivalent to a Glacier and which chews everything up. Consequently, are you prepared to get “chewed up” while failing to vote?

More on the American Glacier phenomena
As a Progressive, I am looking at the Progressive Movement as a Movement that espouses Ideas, leading to legislation, and eventually into the Rule of Law.
Take, for example, the Bi-Lingual Integration Act. And of course, you’ve never heard of this Idea, but this is what’s coming to our America and well within the next 40 years. Thusly, a child entering our public education system, K-12, each child will learn both English and a Second Language. And here in the Sonoran Desert, the Second Language will be either Spanish, or a language from Asia, or a language from one of the Tribal Societies.
Upon high school graduation, each graduate matriculating to a public-funded college or university can take both a written and spoken language test, and if passed successfully, will be awarded 16 semester hours in this foreign language. Consequently, this ‘award’ will consist of 4 semester hours for Spanish 101; 4 hours for Spanish 102; 4 hours for Spanish 201; and 4 hours for Spanish 202.
Of course, education should be encouraged and in doing so, in an appropriate manner, academics will triumph over ‘professional’ sports. Needless to say but I will, our America will be better for it.

Given AZ politics, I’m quite surprised anything this inovative has been or will be allowed to come to fruition.
Education from coast to coast and border to border, especially the public system from K thru colleges, is on the run, being slain mortally by those who would cut anything that benefits non whites or poor whites.
All the while the rednecked right wing loons profess austerity for the non whites they legislate and advocate deregulation and elimination of funding to benefit the lily white donors and the corporate hydra’s who own the erected offals.
Ah well, good luck to all and I love your proposal as stated, good stuff Jaango.
Highly rcc’d . . .
Oops! My Bad!
Dear Readers, please insert “National” before the “Bi-lingual Integration Act.”
Of course, I am speaking of national legislation, otherwise, I will subject myself to my Home State–Arizona, law in which, under HB 2281, I can be tried in a Court of Law for “Attempting to overthrow the Constitution.” Thus, any advocacy in the geographical vicinity that is Arizona, for instutitionalizing a “foreign language” in our public school systemic, is fraught with legal peril. Consequently, the Laboratory for Lobotamies, and not Laboratory for Democracy, continues apace.
