Is the person who made this sign aware of the fact that 53% of voters chose Obama? This is how far from reality this movemebnt is, and how it is impossible to have a conversation with it.
right you are–there is an utter disconnect from reality. This would be laughable under other circumstances–the signs painting Obama as Hitler, repeating the lies about pulling the plug on grandma. The really sad thing, to me, is that this is, in a way mainstream–in the sense that elected Republicans repeat, endorse, and praise the same garbage spewed by the mob
I saw a newborn baby with wild wolves all around it
I saw a highway of diamonds with nobody on it,
I saw a black branch with blood that kept drippin’,
I saw a room full of men with their hammers a-bleedin’,
I saw a white ladder all covered with water,
I saw ten thousand talkers whose tongues were all broken,
I saw guns and sharp swords in the hands of young children,
I saw the Giants get whipped by the much hated Dodgers..
That last one really hurt, too.
I liked the pictures the ‘baggers tried to pass off as today’s, but were clearly from other demonstrations. Like the one with the flag at half-staff on the building where the traffic camera today clearly showed it all the way up the flagpole. And the one where the American Indian Museum completely disappeared from the Mall.
Those were my favorite photos of the day.
Also, the Billionaires were simply swell.
the Billionaires are awesome, hilarious and very clever
Today’s demo outdid itself characterizing the entire party of the right with an ugliness that is revolting. A professionally produced sign; “Bury Obamacare With Kennedy’

Beneath belief. We called this sort of people ‘common as pig tracks’ where I grew up. Guess this idea of decorum comes from talk radio and Jerry Springer show ideals.
yeah, that might have been the most offensive sign, in a way. is MSNBC or CNN showing any of this craziness? I think they should–my bet is mnay people don’t fully understand how over the line today’s Republican party and right wing is
I’ve only seen it on CSpan, just glancing view of the crowd on what news I watched.
Thanks, Jason, no I hadn’t seen that one. Poifect.
Did you see the version covered in horseshit?

I’m less concerned about comparisons with 1930s Germany and more with the media’s participation in the 1990s Rwandan Genocide.
Those pictures are fascinating. The two guys with the big yellow banner suggesting some kind of coup was my favorite: they did it in Honduras, turn the US into a banana republic.
