Among 18-29 year olds, anyway, according to Daily Kos’s latest poll:
The MSM still books more Republican than Democratic talking heads on the Sunday shows and anytime they bitch and moan they give them a medium to do it on. But next time you see one of them spouting off on some TV show or hear CNN talking about the “massive” teabagger party think about the fact that the Republican party is 8 (or possibly even just 5) points away from having a 0 percent approval rating from everyone in the country born after 1980.
That’s not surprising to me, both the polling numbers and the media bias. Good thing this age group (my age group) doesn’t really get their news from TV.
The question, really, is will this trend continue? As people like me get older, will we start watching more television and become more conservative? (Not that those two changes are necessarily related, but they might be.) I kind of doubt it. I have no idea why I’d wake up when I’m 30 and start watching a bunch of cable news. In all likelyhood, I’ll still be reading newspapers online and getting most of my commentary from blogs, like I do now.
Which means the Republican party is digging itself into an even deeper sinkhole as time goes on.

From your mouth to god’s ear.
That, from a 59 year old, lifelong Democrat, sick unto death of the Republican media.
I think if Millenials actually started watching TV, they’d hate them even more. Overexposure is one of the leading causes of Republican Disgust Syndrome, which thankfully most Millenials- also like me!- happen to have.
I never thought of it that way, but you may be right.
Thanks, Jason. The results of the Daily Kos poll are just hilarious.
