Virginia, RI, Washington, we will find remedy to the “kidnapping provisions” of the NDAA at the state level. whether we are fighting for gay rights/marriage or a right to trial it is becoming increasingly obvious that the battles are being won at the state level. Support for a big federal government should be supported by an intellectual argument espousing the virtues of the same. Would anyone like to make that argument? FYI, SS and the medi’s require simple administration, the kidnap provision of the NDAA requires a big, fascist, freedom destroying government. Thanks Virginia Patriots, keep up the good work.
Kurt Kimmo:
In a move completely ignored by the establishment media, the Virginia House of Delegates has voted in favor of House Bill 1160 (HB1160), legislation that codifies in Virginia law noncompliance with the “kidnapping provisions” of section 1021 and 1022 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012 (NDAA).
The final vote, held on February 14, was 96-4. The bill was sponsored by Delegate Bob Marshall and was introduced on January 16th of this year.
Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell is on record as opposing the legislation.
HB 1160 reads as follows: “A BILL to prevent any agency, political subdivision, employee, or member of the military of Virginia from assisting an agency of the armed forces of the United States in the conduct of the investigation, prosecution, or detention of a citizen in violation of the United States Constitution, the Constitution of Virginia, or any Virginia law or regulation.”—

Good stuff, jbade.
Thank you, for letting us know, this is important.
Recommended … and also suggested as truly worthy of the front-page.

The federal govt agencies conducting such operations don’t give a rats ass whether state, county or city agencies help them or not. CA law enforcement not assisting in operations against marijuana growers/sellers hasn’t prevented the federal authorities from doing whatever they wanted to do. This vote is a paper tiger imo. It may save the VA taxpayers some money by it not being spent on these operations so that’s a plus.
I recall, SD, when, during the “war” in Vietnam, certain communities, some earlier, some later, passed resolutions against the war. It was symbolic, of course, and I suggest that this action is also symbolic.
However, by taking a stand, publicly, despite being ignored by the media “branch” of the political class, a message is being sent, and from such small actions, larger actions become both more possible and probable, as well as legitimate.
This matters, now, because “legitimacy” no longer belongs to the federal government.
Just my two cents; roughly the equivalent of what this vote might save the taxpayers and citizens of Virgina.

I can’t disagree with that.
Good for Virginia. Every State should renounce this illegitimate government. “Elected” Democrats and Republicans in Imperial Washington, starting with O’Bastard are a blight on humanity. They bring shame and dishonor on all of us. They should be in prison.
It never should have been included in the bill and Mr. Constitutional law attorney Obama never should have signed it.
Yes but meanwhile we should find every way we can to starve the bea$t.
