3.14 is a crude representation of pi, and if you want to get a bit more accurate there is only one pi date per century:3.14.16, or March 14, 2016 this century.
Einstein was born March 14.

March 14, 1593 would have been even closer to perfect pi day, but they didn’t have the internet yet.
