We forgot that the Senate is full uf the most useless, self inflated, egotistical, idiots on the planet.
By this we elected one of them President, and should be taught a great lesson by it.
Snnators are slightly lower than garden slugs, and slightly less intelligent than a omeba. Yet we treat them as our greatest leaders.
Our Country might well save itself by doing away with the Senate, but that is unlikely because we still believe it is a great thing.
Except that Obama has always said that he favored going after Al-Qaeda in Afghanistan, and that we should have concentrated on that instead of invading Iraq. If Bush hadn’t let bin Laden escape at Tora Bora, this would be a moot issue.
as usual jim another terrific point you make here
During the campaign Obama did keep repeating that the “right” war was in Afghanistan. While I do not agree. He did not hide that he thought we should be in Afghanistan
That is true – which means that Obama really has to explain how Afghanistan is different from Iraq.
Unfortunately, Obama’s election has exposed him to be just another con-man, albeit a prettier one, and one with a much better ability to spin things than his predecessors.
