I’m abandoning the usual goofiness tonight (sorta) for a subject near and dear to me – video documentation of public political events. I have been video-ing such for quite some time now and have been outraged that limitations of it could even be considered!
Well on Monday, Joseph Gordon-Levitt along with The Gregory Brothers and the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida published their video collaboration on Youtube. It’s in the vein of Schoolhouse Rock, but completely welcome, to my point of view:
So get yer cameras out and film! film! film!

Thanks for posting this,Kelly.
Do you think it’s a coincidence that it ends at 420?
4:20
Normally, I like happy endings, but this one is too far-fetched. It leaves me feeling like I did when I told my kids there was a Santa Claus. I couldn’t carry on with that charade past kindergarten.
I think it would be better to be honest and say, record as much as you can, it’s the best tool we have to stop mean behavior, but realize that sometimes, people still get run over with bulldozers and even the smiling, sparkly-eyed President will pretend nothing happened.
