Amanda Palmer covering M.I.A.’s “Paper Planes” at Improv ORG at Cloud Club, July 10th, 2010. Joining her are Nate Greenslit of HUMANWINE on drums, Valerie Thompson of Goli on cello, and Mali Sastri, Rachel Jayson, and Tony Leva of Jaggery on vocals, violin, and bass respectively.
I had a busy weekend. I did a lot of laundry. I ate some good food with some friends. I protested at an award ceremony where the Austin Police Chief got a ‘peace award’ for opening interfaith dialogues.

If there’s one thing my house has plenty of, its pillows. We have an entire room full of them (with a movie projector & sound system).
