How has your week been? Mine has been enjoyable except for the fact that I can hardly breathe. I’m in that in-between state where you aren’t sure if there’s something in bloom and your allergies are kicking up or if you are getting sick, but you hope like hell it’s the former. Excuse me while I go get my neti pot again — there’s something I resisted doing for years until someone finally made me try. But it really works, at least for a little while.

I dunno about the moisture levels in Austin, but here it’s so dry that dust is everywhere, and can play havoc with your breathing (and skin, and mental outlook, and…) ;o)
I was wondering if you might confirm that Donkeytale and Socrates have been banned. A few days ago I clicked on Donkey’s current diary, and was sent to the spam page, and his archives seem to be gone. Later I thought to look for Socrates, and his dashboard’s gone as well. There hasn’t been a watercooler posted since that day.

I resisted for ages while my friends swore by it. It looks weird. It feels weird. but then you can breathe again which is kina magical.
Er…do I assume that no news is…no news, Kit? I don’t mean to put you on the spot, but this is the only place the TOS allows us to comment or ask questions about site business.
I can’t say I found much about the Donkey admirable, although he was singularly provocative to the point of absurdity and massive duplicity, lol. I just don’t care for people to be disappeared without acknowledgment, and I seriously don’t like their archives deleted. In fact, I’d even been hoping to ask Jane Hamsher for a general amnesty now that elections are over as a gesture of good will or something. Serious assholes (always in the minds of the beholders and group flaggers, of course) can always be sorted out later.
Kit, since Watercooler threads are the go-to place for questions to mgmt, I would hope that someone at least acknowledges wendydavis’s question, even if the answer entails taking the fifth.
I’m sorry, but we do make it a firm policy not to comment on our moderator decisions.
Thank you, Kit; I’d thought there had been exceptions to that, so I figured I’d ask. I thought this one may have been one of dual identities, and easy to explain. I’ll keep wondering, but it’s hard not to know even if folks have been banned or not.

I did not make the now obvious (to me) connection to your comment here and your comment about dearth of participation at Turning Pages thread earlier today, because I seldom get to every diary each day. Dual identities had been claimed by the poster in that thread that was removed. I (hopefully) clearly stated my reasons for flagging that day also.
