Hi, y’all.

I’m getting ready for SXSW and the Internet is abuzz with word of a very special guest — Grumpy Cat (and also here) . Something about this news really drove home to me  what a bizarre world the Internet hath wrought. The announcement of a celebrity cat appearing at one of the world’s most influential conferences in technology, music, and film has made as many, or maybe more waves, as some major human celebrity appearances. Sure, everyone likes cute cats but I’m imagining the lines that will queue up for this event, and realizing we really live in the future.
