The American people’s fundamentalist theocracy is no different than the Islamic Muslim terrorists on most moral (criminal?) law. The Jihad support Proposition 8. Ask them. I guarantee you.
They cut people’s hands off for theft and the Christians put thieves in jail for years of mental and physical torment and abuse. But other than that difference, when it comes to human rights, woman’s rights (abortion of course), gay rights, minority rights, childrens rights and religious rites, prohibitions… they are right on par… both "thou shalt not" cults. The even all hate Jews.

I dearly hope Prop 8 is defeated. I have no private stake in the matter. I just wonder why it’s anybody’s goddamned business who someone marries? Why would somebody want it to be their business? I just don’t get it. Its the most undemocratic anti-American idea, to stop two loving people from marrying. What’s wrong with you people?

It really reveals the disturbing stupidity, ignorance, exclusionary and draconian character of the American electorate; in California probably the most liberal state next to Vermont.

In fundamentalist religious belief the sponsors of Prop 8 are pretty much in line with Alqaeda and the Muslims; even a lot of the liberals. Weird people the Americans.

This Prop 8 thing makes me nervously hopeful that 10% of American voters won’t have a "racist moment" in the voting booth on Tuesday and somehow McCain pulls off the Truman/Dewey upset.

Wouldn’t it be better if the people were VOTING FOR an Amendment, Proposition 8A, confirming marriage rights to all of their fellow citizens? I mean doesn’t something about freedom, equal rights, fair-play, privacy rights, free will and self-determination (or maybe the US Constitution?) come into play when someone decides to marry? How about "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness"? How is this harmful to anyone else?

Why can’t Californians amass enough signatures (or meet whatever the requirement is)to put such an Amendment on the next ballot?

What we have here is people having to VOTE AGAINST something instead of VOTING FOR something.

In the Presidential race McCain’s best issue, his best hope and the core of his support is rallying people to VOTE AGAINST Obama. It probably won’t work because you really have to have people VOTING FOR you to win.

In any event, no matter the result on Prop 8, if Obama wins, before too long all such measures are going to be dissolved by a USSC decision. The US Constitution trumps all others…….thank God!
