Wow, Petreaus Gate has become General Gate.
I was greatly suspicious from day one, thot that it had to be spooks driven. And evidence mounts, that it is.
Seems new info reveals biographer/military intelligence student/reservist and MI practitioner Paula Broadwell (aka The Mole?) spent time in Israel studying, working, and has links to Neocon/Israeli ‘think tanks’ and advisory groups.
Previously, she’d just slept with Petreaus and revealed the cover up of the Benghazi operation which was covered up to look like arms smuggling with Turkey to supply Syrian rebels, but was actually a CIA Rendition and Torture House, with prisoners being held at the time of the attack and death of Ambassador Stevens (a CIA operative).
Seems Obama had declared such operations to be halted and illegal back in what,’09? . . . so CIA likely ‘contracted out’ to former US Military folks to do the dirty work . . . so THAT blows up for the CIA.
TWO sisters, identical twins, are social liaisons to US Central Command in FL, and both are dear family friends with Petreus and General Allen, with thousands of emails and daily contact amongst them all over a period of time.
Natalie, the second madame, received help and support from both Petreaus and Gen Allen as part of her custody battle for children in her divorce proceedings!
Sure, TELL me these two gals are not targets for an active mole looking for assets . . . or subject to blackmail by said moles.
Social liasions, I love it, they are madame’s for crying out loud, providing ‘services’ to US Centcom in FL! And HAVE been, for a few years! (conjecture upon my part, as all of this commentary is/valid disclaimer not admitting guilt of complicity or anything else that might get me disappeared).
Compromised? Hayall yes, Easy asset targets for foreign spy agencies and deep embed moles to run them in place within US Military Matters? Oh yeah.
General Allen and Petreaus now shown to have written letters of support and were involved in Natalie’s (the sister to Jill) custody case for her kid(s) upon breakup with HER husband.
Tell me this ain’t spooks run, driven and blown up in the faces of AIPAC, LIKUD, CIA, FBI, GOP and Dem’s. Oh, Pentagon, MIC, all military forces, and well, to infinity!
This makes Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy look tame. Smiley’s People and the Brits series MI-5 (Spooks in the UK) couldn’t write a script this fucked up.
Who will hang? Who will get out alive? Will their be a purge of BushCo military and judicial appointees by the present Dem Pres and his administration? Or will they ‘look forward’ and bury it all?
Will the Neocons, GOP and AIPAC be discredited? Or will they all go scot free in the interest of ‘national security’, which is code for, ‘we all did it, we all do it, we all cover it up cuz EVERY one’s guilty, guilty, guilty’?
My guess, Dem’s cave, again, and it all gets washed away like nothing ever happened and it’s spun as love interests gone bad . . . from the FBI office guy who wanted into Jill’s panties, sent her topless photos of himself, and then called the office of House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-VA) to rat it out cuz HE thot the FBI was with holding the investigation to protect Obama.
Washed away for two sisters playing madams and NOT playing spooks assets.
Washed away so biographer Broadwell is NOT an AIPAC mole embed . . . going back to oh, early 2000′s.
Washed out so Generals and others are NOT being played by spies, but guilty of not keeping their dicks in their pants wrt National Security.
Washed up cover ups of a dead Ambassador Stevens (CIA spook in Benghazi) and those in the rendition/torture house that was made to look like an arms smuggling operation but defied the orders of The President Of The United States (did Obama look the other way? Did his admin folks? CIA?)?
Talk about yer major cluster phucks, this one is epic.

If you were her (I know, ‘she’) or a retired four-star general of the US Army and the director of CIA, would you exchange such potentially incriminating emails? Well, we haven’t seen any of them, but I smell a rat. Actually, a red herring disguised as a smelly rat.
Wait, wait, wait — I’ve just been bowled over by the arms to Syria thing and you’re telling me that was a cover??? I thought the ‘embassy’ thingie was a cover – oh, boy, do I have some catching up to do. Been going back on some of the strange doings, FBI getting to Benghazi and only having three hours to put yellow tabs on all the doors (very important) but not retrieving a New Yorker and important docs strewn about, mostly asking for increased protection and a Libyan police chief being fired as a result but he’s not leaving so the new one is unable to occupy (small ‘o’) his office – and it would all be very funny except people died, and that is not funny.
And was this all so General Petraeus would not have to testify – which would assume he was going to be asked pointed questions. ( How long is it since they asked pointed questions?)
The FBI went to Libya and they went to Paula’s apartment, but they didn’t take boxes to the former and they did to the latter. (I wonder if they took yellow stickers to both – the reports I read didn’t say.) I didn’t read anything about the ongoing rendition place – Paula revealed that? No wonder they took boxes.

This gives him time (Congress’s staff people need a lot of time now) and most important it’s flushing out everything everyone might know and does know. He (and others) will have a very good idea who’s trustworthy, who’s fallen for this bait or that, and what he can testify about without being contradicted by credible sources.

Petraeus, imo, like OBomba, was a product of Madison Avenue. He was a clear example of failing upwards. His surge victory in Iraq was a lie, he failed in Afghanistan because his COIN crap was bogus, and he’s an American Hero, even rumored to run for Prez. Weak-faced and definitely a sexual submissive, not the ‘tiger’ they’re calling him. He sexted Broadwell a photo of him and Angelina Jolie? I ask you… ;o)

It’s still at large whether Paula or Fox News released the outing of the CIA ops in Benghazi as NOT an arms smuggling ops but the biggest house of rendition/torture in North Africa.
Who outed this info has yet to be resolved.
But one thing seems certain, Ambassador Stevens (proven CIA Agent) was cut adrift in the final two weeks as the site housing hundred of more prisoners being tortured, was shut down.
And he and the other 3 were killed in the attacks.
After their SAFE House they got to, was also attacked.
Ergo, everyone and their cousin knew who Stevens was, and what was going on at that site in Benghazi. Hence, many also knew where the SAFE house was, they’d all get to when the torture site was attacked.
Lots more we don’t know, yes. To be unveiled, and washed, for sure.

There was a diary or a comment in a diary and a link about a service anyone can subscribe to that can remotely record someone’s keystrokes as well as view the user’s screen.
Theoretically it’s possible, given the Adobe Flash Player security hole discovered in February (though similar security holes have existed long before). Many people, AitchD included, got emails from people they knew but which were not sent by those people. The emails read something like “Look what I just got!” and included some more text and a url link that opened a discount health/prescription drug site somewhere in the world. (The site got hits, so advertising moneys were made.)
The emails in fact came from the user’s computer’s mail account, but the user didn’t send them. The user had unknowingly allowed a malicious script to execute and then hide. The script could continue sending emails from the user’s account until the script was located and removed.
If someone intends to install an executable script on someone’s pc, it’s easy to do if the person allows an unsafe connection, say from a USB flash drive, a CD or DVD, or an email with an attachment. It has been done surreptitiously by commercial software vendors.
I have been speculating, I’ve wondered in several comments here and there if Petraeus lied about the extramarital affair since only his biographer and his wife need to know it’s a lie, a very small conspiracy, but it’s very very believable.
To what purpose?

The thing you describe, is when a pc is hacked a virus, attaches itself to the pc’s email addy book and spits out the virus laden message.
It’s common, if folks don’t keep up their anti virus protection.
On MAC’s, well . . . no worries so far.

I wasn’t describing a virus. The Adobe Flash Player security hole isn’t anything like a virus — it doesn’t spread, it merely resides inside the pc’s file directory, and it isn’t transmitted like a virus. The user has to execute an action, like clicking on a dialog box (WordPress has been a popular vector) that says something like “Your Adobe Flash Player Is No Longer Functioning. Click Here To Install A New Adobe Flash Player”. Once you click, the malware is installed.
That particular malware, and many like it, isn’t destructive or otherwise harmful. It can’t read your files, steal anything, or wipe anything away. It’s a clever but malicious advertising grift.
I described it here to show it as a successful way to invade a pc that virus protection doesn’t prevent, although the virus protection software can locate it and remove it.
Obviously far worse malicious invasions can happen to unwary users, but it’s rare or unlikely because they can be traced and their attackers can be locked up for a long time. The advertising grifters (like phishing scammers) know that their cons aren’t worth prosecuting, but their attacks are discovered almost immediately and the digital community is alerted and informed.
Something like 500,000 Macs were compromised in March by the Flash Player security hole.
Um. Just now noticed this at Slate (yesterday 8:39 PM Eastern) under “Petraeus Scandal Crazy Details”
“Paula Brandwell’s drivers liscense was recently found by a jogger in Rock Creek Park. Her lawyer would not confirm her whereabouts late Tuesday afternoon.”
And from Huff Post, “Jill Kelley…Ran Questionable Charity”
“Beyond her hosting efforts, the Washington Post reports that, according to a military officier who served under General Petraeus’ staff, Kelley was a “self-appointed” go-between for Central Command officiers with Lebanese and other Middle Eastern Government officials.”
