Ok, info continues to pour in about GenGate.
It’s still difficult to decipher, absorb and know the players and their parts.

Twin sisters, and the one surgeon hubby, deeply in debt, HUGELY in debt, ripe for the asset recruiting by a deep mole or ANY domestic or foreign intelligence agency (oh lord, what if they were all on OUR side, what’s this say about CIA??????).
A couple of husbands of the twins with worldly ways and connects to spookdom. One of the husbands part of Iraqi Reconstruction, appointed and favored by BushCo and the PNAC neocons, working for a company, Akkadian, that does foreign reconstruction and advisory functions to US Pentagon contracts.
As I’ve said often, the babes have likely been flipped more times by intelligence agencies than they’ve been flipped in bed.
And the rest of the cast encompasses each and every facet of spookdom and NEOCON Empire (PNAC), Pentagon, MIC, and of course, CIA, FBI and White House and Congress.
You couldn’t MAKE UP a script with all this, and it’s clusterfuckology, if you were paid a mole’s ransom.

Just cuz I love schadenfreude, and have no idea what we’ll ever know…I have a couple links (gotta say, I don’t care for ‘linkys’ cuz I love language). But I’d seen a quote by one of the EFF guys somewhere, went hunting there later, and didn’t see much, but ended up with a NJ piece talking about how the email trails led to warrants and not-warrants of email providers. (Of course; a duh moment for me).
This Dave Lindorff piece was another twist on the ‘security state eats its own’ theme. The graphic is too fun, and may remember part of it was the same one I used goofin’ around about Petraeus as a sexual submissive, saluting Broadwell while she called him Peaches.
Most coverage says that when he *does* appear before The Committee to talk about what happened in Benghazi, the subject of his sexting might come up. Con? Shiny baubles? We’ll we ever know?

Well, LaRue, the Israeli connections just got writ large with bombs, so we’re into another mini-Iraq Shock and Awe situation, and who is to say which is a distraction for what – I guess things are sort of unravelling as we conjecturize here.
And it is very sad people are dying, even the 11 month old son of a BBC journalist in Gaza.
The implications for CIA interferences and arms manipulations hither and yon plus our continuing isolation in the world of ordinary commerce – surely these things deserve sunlight! Best wishes to you in your continuing to strive towards the light. I may not have popcorn, but I thank you for a string theory that is far beyond our tv einsteins’ capabilities to encompass. I look forward to your next cat’s cradle with anticipatory encouragement. (Or is that encouraging anticipation?) Whatever.

Maybe you should be more clear about which Spy versus Spy agencies you mean, Larue. Internationally or domestically, for instance.
Clearly Petraeus didn’t like the limits of his office, and has militarized the CIA, which old spies loathed for some very good reasons. A number of notables believe it’s a turf war between his old gang at JSOC and the CIA.
Or do you mean foreign spy agencies more likely? Or rivalry with the FBI since the CIA seems to encroaching on their domestic turf? Insiders or former spies give a few opinions, but aren’t offering much that I’ve seen, not that I’ve seen all that’s been brought here…

I made a comment at EW about Admiral Harward. It was his bad luck to be caught in the musical chairs of Jill’s parties. No more Social Laisoning with Admirals and Generals. No more “lavish” parties in a mansion. The Kelley’s have their parties and they are $4 million in debt. But it was Veteran’s Day, last Sunday. Photographers were there.
Harward runs the Afghan torture prisons.
Petraeus talked to the House intel committee today is a closed door session. Some of the (sorta) quotes are funny, but he’s sticking to his story, and they came up with the memos to Rice that it was a video-inspired spontaneous protest. He’ll ‘give evidence’ on Friday. No Broadwell questions, the committee told him.
