The Telegraph is reporting today that paramedics in an ICRC rescue convoy have found the bodies of approximately 70 people in and around one house in Zeitoun. Survivors who made it to Gaza City earlier this week reported that 100 members of an extended family had been rounded up by the IDF on Sunday, and ordered to stay in the house belonging to Wael Samounoi. Early Monday morning, the house was shelled repeatedly. The report notes that ambulances had attempted twice to go out to the home, but had to retreat when they were fired upon by the Israelis. During Wednesday’s three-hour lull, the ICRC convoy was able to reach the home. Fifteen survivors were located and taken to hospital by ambulance. Rescue workers were forced to leave eight other wounded people behind, due to safety reasons.

ET pointed this out yesterday.
I did. I’m waiting to see if more authoritative sources checked into the story, and if it was gaining resonance. looking various places on the web today, I’ve seen casualty counts as low as 20, as high as the Telegraph story’s 70-plus.
This is horrendous. If this did happen once, it probably happened more than once.
The fact that today’s report comes from eye witnesses in an ICRC rescue convoy gives it a lot of credibility, I think.
Apologies for wrong link in text. Fixed now.
Pat Lang has some very interesting things to say about lack of discipline in the IDF (and his own observations of brutality therein).
Hugs Laura. Thank you.

– We are very good friends of the Deeb family. Particularly one of the brothers and his family that now lives outside of Gaza. We continue to check in with our family in Sheikh Radwan and Deir-al Balah daily.
Imagine, I am so sorry to hear of this terrible loss suffered in your friend’s family. Also send my best thoughts to your own family there. Being so far away from them must be excruiating right now.
from now and forever jews must be silent about Nazis concentration camps
what they have done to Palestinians is much worst and unforgivable
they killed their own god so i suppose what we can expect from them?
